I think inference is not his sort of word, stick to band wagon, it's simpler and a lot more popular

Not scripted in any way? All computer AI at this point is entirely scripted. It's not AI at all.

What he means is its not following a scripted, linear path. The AI is making decisions based on the factors he stated, which means the same car should not behave the same in any two races, which they don't.

Oh but dear God is it ever obvious that the cars ARE following scripted, linear paths. In 7 races, I have yet to see a single car deviate off the perfect line. Ever. Even in the rain. In fact, I've seen one car hit and continue to bump the rear end of another car instead of doing the logical thing of overtaking the slower car.

So because you say it's so it must be.

Well i've played a fair bit and had plenty, cars spinning off in front, behind, poor moves etc. Seems pretty random and not totally scriipted at all.

Still it's a shame not to jump on the old bandwagon while it's going by eh.

Well maybe they don't bring anything to the table for you but they can't cater for everyone.

Sounds to me like big publishers want too much to let them sell the older classics so it sounds chicken and egg. More games and a better price point equals more sales and more income to get more games onboard. Seems like publsihers are getting too greedy and are over valuing older games and how much people would be willing to pay for them.

Look at steam, games is £5 no sale game is £2 and thousands of extra sales. Older games are driven by cost as well as quality.

I have to disagree with this, in my local stores this isn't so. 99% of the games in there are the crap ones, the best stuff is hardly there within the first week or two. However even great games, if too short appear pretty quickly, any game no matter how good if it only lasts for 5 hours and has no replay valus is going to appear in second hand shops very quickly.

Second hand isn't what it used to be and Gamestop (Gamestation/Game in UK)are taking the pi** out of consumers as well as game makers and publishers, reminds me of the fishing industry who swear blind fish won't run out so they can catch as much as they want regardless. At some point we could end up with a real lack of stuff for them to sell. New game in uk on 360 £39.99, used copy £37.99 to which they give you £20. £2 off for a second hand game is a con but the £20 off a new game isn't.

However many people do not think about the fact that when buying the second hand copy all the money goes to the shop and none to the publisher which is the main issue. Maybe there needs to be a solution where the publisher/maker gets a cut of the second hand sale.

Add to that games publishers need to get with it regarding the market place and customer needs.

I have picked up Banjo Kazooie, Too Human, The Darkening, Fable II and Fifa 09 all from between £5 and £9. No matter how much i want to support the industry i am not paying £20-£30 for these titles.

Widescreen Mod - Allows most resolutions for the game, makes a massive difference.

UI Mod to fix scaling issues with the above.

The link below has the latest mods and fixes done by Qwinn and released just before Christmas. It also adds a lot of the quests cut at release due to time constraints.

Is this the next in the series to replace Evochron Renegades?
