Well that is their problem and not ours, I just play the games. Why do I really care if they made a calculated mistake in marketing, which I don't really know?

The character is a literal mary sue, that gains the ability to do super things without having to put in the effort to get there.

In most cases it isn't fraud, we need to accept capitalism and how it works, how growth is needed, that is our world. We as consumers still have a choice to buy or not and in almost all cases that is good enough for me. The good news, there are 1000's of games out there, we sometimes act if there are a precious few. If games came to a production halt today, I already have enough. It's like I'm buying rainy day games for a rainy day that never comes, the common theme of backlogs make it seem I'm far from alone.

EA ruined a perfectly good niche game that could have become a regular earner, instead they brought down the ENTIRE deadspace IP. And no doubt the managers at EA got fat checks for that.

I don't have any problems with people having opinions on things, but using the term "Social Justice Warrior" as an insult immediately puts you in the category of "people who think the idea of women being treated as equals is bullshit" and, frankly, beneath the time worthy of a conversation.
