Do voice actors have any leverage here? So they go on strike and the devs just use AI anyway.
Are people not going to buy games because they use AI voices? Doubt it.
I don't see what cards voice actors hold here above billion dollar publishers and development houses who will save a ton of money utilizing AI voices and other assets. Their margins will shoot through the roof.
No leverage for anyone but major stars - which is the same as it ever was anyway. I imagine industry will give them a small bump for now, but within 5 years they'll all be gone.

I left before Burning Crusade expansion came out. I just don't have the time and energy to play.
So I logged back in a few months ago after being gone for 8+ years. I have resumed my pre-raiding WOW lifestyle of casual play and jumping between alts and am enjoying it, even if sometimes its a month between logins due to my job. This coming change is long overdue but so very welcome. When I log in next it should be the single biggest positive change to my gameplay experience since the original expansion.
That was my issue when I left near the end of the Burning Crusades era. I had an opportunity to come back after a short time out, but I chose to play Star Wars the Old Republic instead. I needed some variety at that point. Now I just visit the two games when I can....doing 5 mans and grinding like a casual because I can't play often enough to gear up for raiding.

Hahaha Bugsidian strikes again! Instead of fixing saves as the patch notes state, numerous posters on Steam are reporting a deletion of their save games (well, I guess no save game instead of a broken save is sort of a "fix", too ). Imagine going for something crazy like the triple crown acheevo and *boom* Bugsidian fucks it all up with a patch out of nowhere... /golfclap . Well done, Bugsidian. Good show!

Has anyone else noticed that Steam's "Similar to games you've played..." algorithm is totally broken lately? For this game it's telling me that it's similar to Raft and Satisfactory. They have to be kidding.
