No to subscription and no to Denuvo. Anyway, it's Ubisoft.

This one was quickly sorted out. Laugh2

I'd rather stick with Introversion for that sort of games than Double Eleven, even if they participated to a few good titles like RDR2. I pretty much stopped playing since DE took over.

Making a 2nd game with exactly the same theme isn't very original and doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. Not a fan of requiring a Paradox account either.

(For information, Paradox is only the publisher)

It's still plagued with denuvo anyway, no-go for me like all Ubisoft titles.

hmm, same mistake again, 1 and 3 are the same, 4 and 7 (and 8) are the same, so it's a top 7-8.

2 little mistakes, 2 and 4 are the same, and so are 8 and 10 (the last link is incorrect).

Good to know, I'll stay clear of their games, not that I care for fifa anyway.
As if there wasn't enough problems with denuvo... it looks like it would really pay off to get cracked version, so they can only encourage it.

Their game support is still in pre-alpha though, maybe they should release that first.

Beware of Construction Simulator, infested by Denuvo DRM. Past dev's games were OK but nothing that grants that anyway.

I think that's just a misunderstanding. Elon Musk likes games, he's likely talking about Valve's Steam being integrated into the on-board computer. :p

What could go wrong indeed?

As good as it may look, I'll pass. When Paradox Interactive finally decide to give some support to their games I'll reconsider but I doubt it'll even happen.

It's not clear how to run the game either. I've never seen so many problems packed in a demo, I couldn't even start the game (black screen). The menus are unreadable, their text is merged with the previous menu (they forgot to clear the page before writing a menu). When opening the settings again, the previous selections are forgotten.

And there is no way to start the game, the user gets a dark page, clicking on a key shows a floor with a cube, clicking again gets back to the dark page. Weird. Forgotten already.

I've noticed it was taking a lot of GPU even on low settings, and several other players reporting very high GPU temperature as well.

I assume it's not ready for release yet, maybe in a few months.

Based on Unity unfortunately... I had too many issues with this engine lately. And from teams who tried to optimize their game, I can't imagine what it must be with a generic game generation tool like this.

No, if you want to make a game that people enjoy, make it properly and benefit from the experience at the same time. There are a few very good engines available out there and which are not so complicated to use.

What I see on the tweet is "as soon as we are ready", not "soon", this is not the same. But I may have missed a reply further down the thread.

In Europe it's 80 EUR in pre-order, or even 105 EUR for the Digital Deluxe Edition.

Goes without saying I'll never buy that sort of game at that price, but that's the new standard for Square Enix - FF7 Remake and this one.

Dishonored 2 and Watch Dogs 2 were two titles I was really looking forward to, and that I'll boycott - apparently this malware Denuvo is everywhere those days!

It's really sad. And apparently it'll be in all Ubi titles (and I guess Bethesda's too, they used to be a great company).

It certainly doesn't give a very good impression from a company when their support and their PR give contradictory information about the end of a product. Time will tell I suppose.

The demand has allegedly soared these last weeks due to the success of pCars, that could explain the shortage. On the other end, those are old products, even Logitech has ended the G27 and announced the G290.

I call BULLSHIT!

Amazon Pricing:
Thrustmaster T500RS = $584
Thrustmaster TX + T3PA-PRO = $482
Thrustmaster T300RS + T3PA-PRO = $587

Not only is the T500RS listed as the 26th of 26 wheel products on Thrustmaster website's Wheel product page, but it does not support either PS4 or XB1. Even if a new buyer was going to exclusively use a wheel for the PC, it's still a smarter choice to go with the TX or T300RS because of resell value.

Then consider that a new buyer can buy a TX (plus the upgraded pedals) for $100 LESS THAN the cost of the +4 year old T500RS (without a brushless motor) or support their latest gear shifter.

Clearly then, it's a product that must be discontinued or replaced by an updated PC-only wheel. My guess is the rumor is right, but Thurstmaster still has a lot of T500RS in the distribution channel and are hoping to sucker in some poor schmucks who are dishing out almost $600 and expecting the best.

At least sell the soon-to-be-discontinued T500RS for a discount, Thrustmaster, you jerks.

Yes, it's quite pricey and about on par with Fanatec (at least here in Europe), do the wheel and pedals really justify such a high price? Not that I'd dare buy a Fanatec after seeing disturbing reports on the overall quality and noise (now, maybe there are as many for the other brands too).
