Quick campaign first impressions on COD WW2 for those that care

The intros, cut scenes & story are very well done.
The in game animations not so much, typical COD everyone just drops too fast on being hit etc.
I like to turn in game music off but it looks as if thats not an option thankfully it's sparingly used.
I like the health regen, it's authentic & keeps you in the moment.
The hit indicator is horrendous, unsubtle & embarassing, thankfully so far with shit going down theres no time to really focus on it too much. (why would they not give you the option to turn it off?)
Sound effects are pretty good, graphics all turned up max 1920 1080 it looks pretty.
Amazingly with how linear the game is retrying a scenario things can & do play out a little differently, not much but enough to make you go... cool.
You can between chapters change difficulty & even step down mid chapter if struggling. (props)
I have this installed on my HD not ssd & Load times are amazingly fast, also things save on exit.(big props to them)
Update
The flamethrower is amazing

Thanks for the impressions Hoop. I read a bunch of reviews last night and its doing surprisingly well, might pick it up next year when Activision marks it down by 5% haha.

Nope wrong as usual, it's literally the same situation with the gender changed. You have some fucking nerve chasing me around after condoning sexual assault the other day and making a disgusting crack about "bad man touching you". You're either a troll or a psycho, I can't figure out which but I'm not tolerating it anymore.

Is that a headline from The Onion? Or has our current reality put them out of business?

It's pretty low grade political humor on par with late night talk show hosts doing #hashtagjokegetit?!

What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? You lot are like that fucking episode of the Orville, judging by media (social and network alike) without all the facts. So far all they are the accusations of one man. Fuck you all.

Innocent people don't tend to apologize right away in the media and that's where he is being accused, not in a court.

I don't subscribe to automatic belief but when the person accused starts apologizing its pretty hard to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I notice you conveniently didn't answer my question about what you would do if that was your teenage daughter because then you would have to face your own hypocrisy and actually deal with it. You have no spine.

As if it wasn't already established that both men and women can die brutally in a post apocalyptic world they created with the first game. People are being absurd about the TLOU2 trailer, just polygon and the press looking for clicks. They can put on their big boy pants and deal with it, I'm glad Sony basically said as much.

All this knee-jerk over-reaction and PC, social media bullshit is getting out of hand. Netflix have just lost a lot of respect with their handling of all this.

If Kevin Spacey invited your 14 year old daughter to his hotel room, attempted to have sex with her against her wishes to the point where she had to forcibly flee the room and escaped only by chance, somehow I don't think this would be such a "knee jerk overreaction" situation.

The real shame of this is that he won't face charges to either clear his name or receive the punishment that might be deserved. I don't like this "tried in the press" stuff but that doesn't mean the behavior itself isn't totally awful. It isn't a question of automatic belief either, people don't tend to apologize when they've done nothing wrong.

And I've read that on average, runners have better joints than the general population (not that that's a very high bar. ).

To me you need nearly perfect biomechanics, otherwise you will eventually fuck up your cartilage or meniscus in your knees. I'm talking to make it a lifetime thing, not just something done casually. There are many people who just jog casually a few days a week and probably aren't doing it enough to do any real damage. If you have the physiology to do it 3-4 days a week for years then hey, I envy you. I would just caution you not to speak too soon, 10 years of pounding away can do some damage.

I do love running though, that's the shame. I live in a beautiful rural area and jog/hike the trails in the spring/summer. It's soul restoring. Unfortunately my old man knees no longer agree.

I liked the ancient EA and the old EA. The last games I liked were the Crysis, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect games. The current EA is dead to me - they just don't produce any games anymore that I am interested in. So I don't have to boycott EA because the natural split has already happened.

Yeah agreed. I got OK mileage out of BF1 but even that formula is wearing thin now. They aren't offering me any memorable SP games anymore so I don't think I will be getting any of their stuff in the future. Anthem for example just looks like a Destiny clone, basically a microtransaction vehicle.

Yesterday's news has brought up more questions than answers, but they're interesting questions that show progress is being made. Absolutely no question of impeachment based on what's known now. The emulsions clause is more likely and that's never had a snowball's proverbial.

What's interesting is that he's now on the twitter attack with Papadopoulos since he agreed to cooperate. Makes me wonder if hes insulated from this or not.

Okay, first I thought I said nothing had come out which would get him impeached. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what I said.

Second, impeachment is a political process not a legal one. Hence it suffers all the problems any political process does.

Third, unless I misread your "tone" (certainly possible) you'll disagree when I say IMHO, Trump has already committed impeachable offenses. I believe he attempted to obstruct justice when he fired Comey. That said, even if every single GOP member of Congress agreed with me on that, they still would not impeach him.

If you were referring to me, sorry if I missed you saying that initially. I don't think he's done anything impeachable yet (of what we've heard so far) and I do think that some of congress would support impeachment if he did but it depends on the transgression IMO. There are certainly party stalwarts that would not, I'm not going to deny that. If it was serious enough though I do believe you could get some republican reps to support it, particularly with the ongoing conflicts within the GOP at the moment.

Halloween is so much fun and the town here really gets into it. We've got our house all done and a ton of candy ready. Conveniently most of the candy just happens to be kinds that we like just in case there's leftovers

Point at the doll where the bad man touched you.

First of all, wow are you an idiot? "Point at the doll where the bad man touched you" in the context of attempted rape of a minor, stay classy. Second, give me a break. You've spent the past month forum stalking me, trying to troll me with unrelated political and social links. But when you make a blatantly hypocritical and frankly disgusting statement that directly contradicts something you said previously, I'm supposed to just ignore it and let you save face? But even then I gave you an out to do the right thing in my last post and instead you made a childish trolling attempt.

I thought you were a legitimate poster, not an immature troll. Apparently I was wrong.

I think Keyser Söze's apology and the fact that he got outed are no reason to cancel the show. But netflix has more shows waiting in the wings.

Yeah no you're not running away from this by burying it.

Uh that's kind of disgusting. So if Harvey Weinstein apologized, that makes it ok and he can go back to his company and keep making money? Fuck no. Spacey is essentially apologizing for trying to force himself on a 14 year old. That's attempted rape of a minor. I have no idea how you reconcile that double standard. Anyway the star of your show is caught up in something like this is plenty reason to cancel a show, they get cancelled for less all the time.

Forget about how you feel about my username or political opinions and ask yourself this: if it was a man forcing himself on a 14 year old girl, would you still think an apology was OK and that the show could go on?

You and I might butt heads on politics from time to time but I really did not see you coming down on the wrong side of this. I hope you reconsider your statement.

I only jog in the summer, too hard on your joints to do for extended periods or at least it is for me, I'm pretty built now after a few years of lifting. I picked up cycling awhile ago and while expensive, its a fairly low impact activity that is fun.
