Yeah, I was leery of using Fig, at least without a Paypal option or something. Passing their goal in less than 24 hours, I can hold off a bit before I buy the cheap-ass $29 version.

*EDIT* Also apparently 5 is the official party size, the cursed fools! Message board pleading has commenced on their forums.

The board says they're working on a video update now, and hopefully that's (payment) covered.

I'd prefer 6 to 5, but it's not a deal killer for me. I do hope they have a good explanation as to why...

They've (easily) surpassed their 1.1m goal, so I suspect they'll have alternate funding methods up very soon...

Doomsday Clock Insider Tells What It Will Take To Push Back Those Hands.

That was interesting! Was curious how that worked (IE what specifically prompted the most recent changes).

(regarding today) I'm told that Shoah is an excellent documentary to mark the day, though I readily admit I've not seen it, for fear I will cry like a little girl through the entire thing. I do have The World At War, and (having seen it) I can't recommend it enough.

How badly did you splurge?

Signed box edition is 249$ US

DAYYYYUM, SON!

You can...um...safely double that...

I went all in as I loved the way POE turned out, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. So I'm very excited for round 2.

Looks like for the last game I backed $225? I loved the CE box, but instantly regretted not getting it signed. So I had to fix that this time.

One thing though: Obsidian, DO NOT REDUCE THE MAX PARTY SIZE BELOW 6. Do not listen to the 4 man party heathens! Aside from that, hooray!

Someone is claiming 5 in the comments, but not saying where they heard it. Obsidian just answered with a "you'll see soon" answer.

5, I don't mind. But anything below that I'd be curious about (and not in a great way, without a good explanation).

edit: Looking at this image, I'm thinking it's 5, assuming the pirate in the middle is an enemy.

That's just sad that US scientists have to resort to this sort of nonsense everytime the GOP takes over.

yeah like Obama re-tasking nasa to work on "claimte change" instead of interstellar travel.

That's not BS at all.

Trump said he wants to push space travel. In libtard land that's "unscientific" because its not related to stealing money with carbon credits and bullshit like that.

Throw every liberal POS idiot so called "scientist" out of nasa and get some real ones in there.

Timmeh, spoken like a true tard. impressive

Hopefully one day you will get a clue, but it's beginning to look like you're drain bamaged.

See, tim's post there is the exact kind of stuff that should be reported. It's not a discussion or debate, it's legitimately trying to get a rise out of people through any means. It adds nothing to the conversation besides noise and vomit.

In other words, during REM sleep, the brain selects which portions of new neural circuitry it wants to eliminate and which portions it wants to strengthen and enhance for future use.

Defrag the brain frequently, kids.

Former Harmonix programmer Roger Hanna Morash passes away.

Reading through the details there, WTF?

edit: I was going to guess carbon monoxide or something, but K says:

Fire investigators have ruled out all probable hazardous causes, including carbon monoxide poisoning. Homicide detectives are currently involved, but that’s not necessarily an indication of foul play. “We’re still stumped by this one,” police officer Byron White told SF Gate.

There's been a few of them lately, idiots who post nonsense and bail. I hope they get banned for griefing because they just make actual discussion harder, even when ignored. I wonder how many people are discouraged from posting because they think this sort of mentality is typical.

Maybe I should ignore them. They're certainly not worth more than a derisory comment.

Report it all, only way to get rid of them.

Totally agree, loved it, especially after the trash prequels.

The vitriol toward this guy is entirely earned. D3 at launch was trash. Auction house, online only, server overload, lag, horrific loot tables, and the cutesy take on what has historically been true dark fantasy. Why did Wilson push all these agendas? Projected revenue and to leave his 'mark' on what was already a very successful franchise. The cherry on top was his 'fuck the haters' and 'let them eat cake' stance after launch.

It took them over a year to undo half of the shit he did to the game.... I'm still not happy...but I doubt I will with many Blizzard projects going forward. There is nothing left of the amazing creative company that gave use Diablo and Warcraft. Not it is all about squeezing cash out of their target audience.

But...but...if he quit then Diablo 3 might not have happened, and he couldn’t live with that!

Oh, so modest...
