Only 8 supporters for original KOTOR game to movie adaption? Damn :\. It's pretty good story, I mean for those SW fans or semi fans that haven't even played it might get a good kick out of a well directed version - especially with the "twist" at the end.

There's also too much Star Wars stuff to choose that would be good for film or TV Series adaptions that I doubt will ever happen anyways. Rogue Squadron/Wraith Squadron, for example, would make an excellent high-budget Mini Series. Thrawn Trilogy could have worked well as films with some tweaks. Then there is the Yuuzhan Vong stuff which people were mixed on, but it would make for a good "horror" sw story... maybe.

When the animation team wraps up Rebels, Old Republic would be a great place to jump to next, w/o tripling over future movies. But I thought I read somewhere they were potentially looking at/around episode 7 for the next series...

Blade Runner 2049 Announcement Trailer.

Skeptical, but hopeful. Kinda weird we're getting this and another Alien in the same year.

Oh, and episode 8. 2017 is already looking like a crazy year for movies.

Pretty damn cool! I always welcome NG+ modes, and being able to combine both sets of powers is a nice addition.

Because those things happened after the kickstarter, and we not things we pledged for or were interested in.

The narrative in these MP videos are fucking terrible.
I literally had to watch this with the sound muted, because it made me feel embarrassed to listen to it. Sounded like 7yrs old kids in the school yard or something.

Small penis syndrome. They're trying to overcompensate for an obviously crappy product.

Yeah, reviews seem really positive. Can't wait for tomorrow. I threatened my boss that I might disappear for a few hours today after lunch.

I had a nvidia RIVA 128 back then, so 3Dfx and their willful market fragmentation was unwelcome bullshit in my world. Im so glad they died and their bullshit proprietary API died with them.. or rather, got bought by nvidia and dismantled for parts.

But now it seems monopolies are no longer illegal, so who knows what comes next. Im just wondering if the Global Corp War of 20XX will be fought primarily between armies of robots or actual people. Maybe robots piloted by people? Or maybe even people piloted by robots? Those are the real questions.

You sir are completely off your rocker.

Am I? Or am I so on my rocker that it just blew your mind?

IMO 3dfx is what drove those other companies to try and compete, and pushed d3d forward. W/o 3dfx and glide, I think software rendering would have stuck around for a lot longer...

Do you really want me to start linking information about prostate stimulation nin? Or male erogenous zones (yes including your prostate).

I have something called Interstitial Cystitis, and I can promise you that when you're a guy, and you go to the doctor and describe various urinary pain/discomfort, the first thing they do is check your prostate. Like, many times...

It only took 3+ years and 3 different doctors to be properly diagnosed ...including one that told me I'd just have to live with the symptoms the rest of my life. He was a fucking idiot, and thankfully there's medications that mostly null the symptoms. (Note in that article it says "Women are affected about five times as often as men." That's becuase it's so misdiagnosed in men, as doctors think the prostate is the problem, when it isn't.)

I'll spare you the details of running a camera/various cables up your dick. 3 different times.

(Sorry, Rant Off. )

it's a great example of how omitting key facts from a story and making some implications can completely turn people's perception of the event and outcome.

Not to mention how the internet allows folks to get some (but clearly not all) of the information before going off on a social rampage.

To quote a coworker from years ago, told the doctor "If I get an erection, just shoot me."

I bought Unreal and my friend was into video games too and came over to me and my roommates house to check it out. He was floored with the original graphics...then he said he had heard of something called 3Dfx and wondered if it worked with Unreal. Never had I heard of such a thing until I went to a local computer store (remember those? ) and bought a Voodoo graphics card. Me and my friend installed it and when I started Unreal for the first time with the new card working I literally couldn't believe my eyes. Me and my friend just sat there with our mouths open watching the little fly-through that use to play automatically when you first started the game. Amazing time.

Unreal was the game that caused me to dump my stopgap (shitty) voodoo rush and replace it with a voodoo2.

That was quite the time to be alive, in 3d acceleration. Games were getting patches left and right, and the difference was mindblowing.
