Finally broke down and bought an xbone last weekend. And it came with Horizon 3, which is awesome!

The UI still makes me want to scream, however. 3 button presses for a single screenshot, wallpapers that are useless, since you have a giant non-transparent box in the middle of the screen that can't be ignored, ads all over the place, one small tile in the upper right corner to go to all your games, audio that still plays out of the speakers even when you've set the console to headphones, etc. Just a mess...I didn't think it could be worse than the 360 UI, yet somehow they made it happen.

You traitor

I don't own a console but with hindsight I think sony is the way to go.

The ps4 is still The Favorite Child, for sure.

You're going through the exact same thing I went through. I'd do 3-4 boxes a night, look around the room, and felt like I made no progress.

The wild stage you'll hit is when you basically live out of one single box for ahwile, and start to question why you have all the other boxes in the first place. It really makes you question things...

It's Bioshock in space. It'll start with a space lighthouse as you get out of your crashed spaceship, get inside a spacestation, realize you're part of some crazy experiment and go after the people who started it.

TADA!

I gots no problem with any of that!

The Humble Freedom Bundle: We just added 16 NEW TITLES.

Dammit! I wanted Subnautica (now out of keys), but was going to wait until payday...

Oh well...good luck to them.

So if you are willing to have the opening of the game spoiled, you can get an unfiltered look at how it begins.

Always my gripe with these. I want to see more, but not have the story spoiled.

Really looking forward to it!

Bloody hell, a 14GB patch? The game's only what, 26GB to begin with?

They're essentially having you download half of the game again.

Could also be future DLC, where they supply it to everyone and then the purchase/pass just unlocks it.

I keep meaning to go back and finish all the secondary missions (after finishing the story awhile back)...

Moved twice in 2015/ early 16, after being in the same place for 20 years. It's astounding the amount of stuff that accumulates. Like dumpsters worth.

Wow! Congrats to MrsBlue!

The most interesting aspect of this is that where we are ending up is quite rural.

Shades of Funny Farm, though hopefully w/o the material strife.

I've always considered you a New Yorker in the city sense, so this seems like a huge change. I hope everything goes well, and it's a good change!

The bad news is that this was enough work that I feel pretty achy this morning. But I have to just own it. A couple of my neighbors have snow blowers, and I stubbornly head out there with my hand shovel, so I don't really have anyone to blame for my soreness but myself and my stubborn sense of machismo.

Be careful dude, and take it easy. The topic has come up here before, but this seems like a great reminder about snow shoveling and heart attacks.

I don't think I'm gonna worry about testing with/without on the whole Beast Mode thing. All I can say is Ratchet and Clank looks like a top notch PC-run titles, with fantastic AA. The Last Guardian runs smoothly but doesn't have the AA R&C uses. Final fantasy 15 looks gorgeous, as does The Order. Pretty sure The Order doesn't have any improvements done, it's a pretty old PS4 game.

Those are all the games I have to try so far. I'll have Zero Dawn and Andromeda when they come out.

If you've not tried Infamous Second Son, it's a awesome sort of X-Men/mutant type game...and it's jaw dropping in the visual department.

To be fair, it's the same setup they've offered since launch, just in a slimmer case.

I'm looking forward to testing out beast mode on the pro, it looks like a nice improvement.
