I'm honestly not sure what there's left to enhance. The game is pretty much perfect as far as I'm concerned.

Maybe put the SP Gwent game's balance changes into Witcher 3, but that's about all I can think of.

(and yes, all of you who say the combat is terrible, whatever. Go play Doom.)

I still use around 10 mods... so there is that. Not that they see eye to eye with me on those.

Which are they are where do you get them? (I understand if you don't want to write a book, I'm just curious what they change and what you'd recommend.)

Thanks!

I think I'm reaching peak saturation on Steam / Gog... didn't buy much at all this time around. I think I got LA Noire and Necrodancer on Steam this sale.

LA Noire was cool. It's not perfect, but it's very memorable.

This game looks freaking amazing. My jaw's not quite on the floor as I watch these videos, but I am definitely building a high end desktop fairly soon, for the sake of this game and future games like it.

Look at the blimp, damn! And the wreckage changes the layout of the map... and it's pilotable... must play BF1 immediately!

Master of tanks and apcs, master of infantry, mediocre to bad jet pilot, pretty good helo pilot in previous BF games. I suspect I'll die a lot flying around in these rickety paper death traps.

I'm really looking forward to it, looks like a lot of fun...

The Evolve website is now counting down to an announcement or something

So you have an announcement, about an announcement, for an upcoming announcement?

I really like Blue's an all, but please don't start that crap with having announcements about upcoming announcements. Such things basically = No News.

The number of times reporting something like this is worthwhile, per year can be counted on one hand, at most.

Companies are also doing this crap more often, all in the hope that people/sites etc "talk" about it. How about we cut their crap and wait for when they actually have something to say rather than hyping ourselves up on their behalf, about some announcement, at some future date...

But look below at all the entertainment we wouldn't have without this post.

And Blue has been doing announcements about announcements for awhile now, this isn't new.

So it was surprisingly quiet

I had neighbors go nuts Saturday night and especially Sunday night (like 11:30+) but after expecting to get no sleep last night, they surprisingly wrapped things up by 10:30...

Thanks Slightly Annoying Neighbors!

I don't think it had Myst, but pretty sure it had Ultima 8, Strike Commander, the first few Wing Commanders and Syndicate with American Assault. There were 12 in total, including games I cannot remember the names of, like this 3d first person game with eye of the beholder movement set on a spaceship that I never got anywhere with.

Huh, now you've got me wondering what that last one was...also looked up Strike Commander and see Paul Steed worked on that. Long time ago...

You Australians get screwed on everything, cost wise...

Well, like I said, RLs require a change of mindset and a new approach, otherwise you`ll think something along the lines of that wildly inaccurate statements above.
There was nothing inaccurate about it. Your statement is equivalent to saying that in order to appreciate traditional roguelikes, most people need to retrain themselves to find different things interesting. If you're capable of doing that, you should take up needlepoint or some other craft instead. Then you have the bonus of being able to sell some junk on etsy.

Considering you keep armor, skills, etc, diablo has nothing to do with rogues. Don't know why he would even connect the two, unless he never played the diablo series.

Blizz has already put up job postings for a new Diablo,

http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2016/07/blizzard-job-posting-outs-plans-for-new-diablo-game/

A brand-new "unannounced" entry in the Diablo world was, er, announced on Friday by way of an official job posting for—get this—the next entry's director. It's the game-news equivalent of New Line Cinema saying a new Lord of the Rings film is coming but, whoops, Peter Jackson's not involved, and they could really use a new person to get this thing up and running.

The post seeks someone to "lead the Diablo series into the future." While such a public push for a series director might read like an attempt to bring more diversity into the hiring pool, we'd frankly be shocked to see anybody other than the industry's old-guard vets fulfilling application requirements such as five years of game-directing experience and shipping "multiple AAA products as a game director or creative director." The job posting mentions nothing about virtual reality or other experimental hardware.
