I just want to say that Night In The Woods was a fantastic game that dealt with depression and mistakes, and trying to live with yourself afterwards. (Which, as I now type that, seems rather ironic, given the current news.) It very much spoke to me personally, as someone who's been depressed a really long time, and sometimes feels like the mistakes in life outnumber the positive events.

If you've not played it, you should. The characters are wonderfully well written and relatable, the game is funny, sad, and thought provoking, the music is great, and it's an all around wonderful experience. It feels like it was written by honest, relatable people, because it was.

There are no winners here, and as the game says "everything sucks forever". It sucks that such a good thing is now marred by everything that's happened.

If you're having a hard time in life, please seek out help from others. There's a good chance other people have been through the same things you have, know exactly how you feel, and wish they could take things back or do things differently.

Blue, I'm terribly sorry for your loss. I've often wished our four legged kids could talk to us, and I know Gunnar would have told you how thankful he was to have you and MrsBlue as his family.

As Mr Tact said, Thank You for sharing him with us. He was one of a kind.

No, you combat trolls through inaction. You empower them by getting worked up and reacting.

But aren't you then rewarding that behavior through inaction? Some people take nothing said as approval, especially trolls. There comes a point when something has to be done. I'm not saying banning is the only thing but at some point, somewhere, a line has to be drawn because if not, the problem just escalates.

And ignoring does no good when the person is quoted...

I totally forgot about DoW3

Also, if you're into RPGs, don't forget that Torment comes out next Tuesday...

Choo Choo!

I'm not sure where my mind was, but for some reason I went all digital on the fundraising. And then came to my senses in Jan...amazon still had ps4 copies that are supposed to come with a soundtrack cd, a printed map, and I think a steelbook, so that will have to do...

My mom has a bad case of dementia. It's sad to watch considering she was so smart when I was young. She could also fix almost like anything. "Mom! VCR stopped working." Mom fixed! Good memories for me to share with her when I visit

I'm sorry about your Mom. About a year before my father passed, he tried to introduce me to my step sisters husband, after we've known each other for upwards of 20 years at that point. Scared the shit out of me at the time...I guess I'm glad he went before that got any worse.

Well, the fall backlog goes in front of the decade backlog, in hopes at least one of them will be done by next fall.

I skimmed a review (think it was k?) that said it wasn't great...

Oh well, still climbing out from the fall backlog, so nothing lost...

I hope the official stuff goes more like Ana's release... Hint for a week or two, and then put it on the test server. Sombra's reveal was ridiculously long, probably in the four month or more mark. I really feel like Sombra's first hint was an accident, and the hero was nowhere near ready, so they had to keep coming up with hints to buy time till development could be finished.

I mean technically they were "celebrating" somewhere in the neighborhood of 9 months earlier...

Old Man Murray. Man those are great memories. Thats when gaming was truly exciting and every game announced was something to look forward to.

I still remember their review of Heavy Gear 2. The entire review was:

"An answer to a question no one asked."

Don't forget the whole "Crate Review System".

My favorite is still "Your Webmasters: Erik is the fat, girl-looking boy. Chet likes Ministry and not much else."

While I'm happy that Erik is (apparently) getting to do what he wants, it sounds like Valve has an employee retention problem. It's not a good sign when your employees are leaving to be baristas (or for that matter, that they can afford to do so).

Apparently you didn't catch Erik's sense of humor.

Kind of wondered that as well.

Not sure why anyone would even be playing anymore on those old consoles, without the DLC. The DLC is what (barely) makes it worth playing... I imagine right now they're stuck with not many ways to make money either.

They've said future content isn't coming to them, which goes hand and hand with this announcement.

Not really something we should be hoping for or getting excited about, IMHO.

Not usually, but for Agent-Zero I would make an exception. How many chances has he had? I can think of 2 previous accounts but I'm sure there have been others and it's not as if Blue bans people on a whim.

And that was part of the removed post...
