I'll probably pick this up, though I agree with some. The game from the first trailer looked amazing. Too bad they couldn't get funding.

Doesn't need to be realistic, it just has to make sense and fit in it's own context.
Morrowind's character, for instance, stuck out.
Oblivion's were just bland. It's that facegen tech, I think. The npc's in oblivion were made with it. (the same tools you get to make your own characters)
What you have to work with it just so.. ugly, though.

Their character art has been horrible since morrowind, no surprise there.
Fallout 3 would dissapoint people if it gave blowjobs and cupcakes.
There's just no way it can live up to it's own 'legend', so to speak.
I'm just looking at it as 'At least I get a non fantasy rpg game.'

Wouldn't account for the thief 3 environments.

Oblivion's toolkit is heavilly modified from gambryo's standard, so it would require a bit more than cutting and pasting from one build of the engine to another.
*Edit* Not seeing where it was said they used gamebryo?

But who knows. Maybe the assets were unencrypted in the release build.

Just a theory.

Multiple evironments from more than one game. with object placement exactly the same.
Looks like they just ripped meshes and textures from the hardware buffer.
