It's pretty funny and sad how Jim Sterling was exactly right about this happening over two years ago. Which studio is next? BioWare? Place your bets an stay tuned!

Honestly I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Destiny 2 will only recognize the physical cores in an Ryzen processor whereas with an Intel processor it'll recognize cores and threads so I want to say this is a Bungie problem rather than a Windows problem especially when I can fire up any other game and they recognize how many cores and threads my processor has.

For folks like me who Freesync at 75hz and own modest hardware it's really a non-issue but for anyone else who has a high refresh setup they're going to be incredibly disappointed to know that their overclocked 1600s and 1700s are trailing a stock i3-7350k in a game which thrives on multicore processing at both 1080p and 1440p.

It's kind of a shit show for Ryzen/Polaris since the ultra preset has baked in nvidia gameworks too. If I ever had to put on a tinfoil hat and say it's purposely crippled because of the intel/nvidia influence then this will be it if it releases in the same state.

The 1600x equivalent makes me wonder if they fixed the SMT issues with Ryzen...

I can't think of the last Warframe they've come out with which doesn't look awful.

Mesa, maybe?

Equifax changed the password from "password" to "p@ssword". Clearly they did everything they can to shore up security. Time for a bailout.

That's giving them too much credit. The security chief probably watched Spaceballs and thought 12345 made more sense since it matches his luggage.

The European PEGI system is more or less in the same boat and says consumers should push the gambling commissions rather than the rating boards in regards to loot boxes.

In short, our approach is similar to that of ESRB (I think all rating boards do, USK in Germany as well). The main reason for this is that we cannot define what constitutes gambling. That is the responsibility of a national gambling commission. Our gambling content descriptor is given to games that simulate or teach gambling as itís done in real life in casinos, racetracks, etc. If a gambling commission would state that loot boxes are a form of gambling, then we would have to adjust our criteria to that.

News Comments > Grim Dawn: Ashes of Malmouth Released
1. Re: Grim Dawn: Ashes of Malmouth Released Oct 11, 2017, 22:36 Wallshadows

For as much as I love ARPGs I just never really got in to Grim Dawn. I don't know if it's the pacing, the static maps or lack of a community but even when I am in an ARPG kind of mood it's so far down the list that I get genre burn out before it's even a thought in my mind.

Glad it's doing well though.

On a more serious note, since Trudeau withdrew from the F-35 program, maybe they can redirect some of that savings toward mental health treatment.

You mean more than just listening to celebrities pat themselves on the back a couple of times a year like it's some kind of wardrobe malfunction?

You actually want something done about it?

Outrageous!

I put my foot through a scanner which decided to shit the bed RIGHT before I had to send off one of the most important documents I've ever had so I've been having one hell of a mental health kind of day ever since.

The 8400 and 8600k, hot damn... Now if only H370 mobos would pop up.

Expect the H and B series right around the Zen+ releases in early 2018. To be honest if I were upgrading now I'd be hard pressed to pass up the 8400 even with a Z series board assuming stock iasn't a problem but I keep hearing paper launch being thrown around...

Isn't this something which Wheeler and the old gang should have anticipated especially so close to an election? Couldn't that have done something to make it permanent or at least stay in effect for x amount of years before the torches and pitchforks came out from ISPs?

Seems like a waste when the next administration can come in and essentially lay waste to everything done by the previous.

I never gave much thought about the laws around drinking and canoeing to be honest. Usually I bring a case of hard cider and hit the lake. You don't want to over do it though or all the paddling can definitely make you throw up everywhere but at the end of the day you sleep like a rock.

East Rutherford, NJ (AP) -A seven-year old boy was at the center of a New Jersey courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.

The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the New York Giants, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.
