I think Baldur's Gate 3 and Demon's Souls are the two games I'm most looking forward to now.

Yea most people don't realize these 3500+MB/s peak read/writes in NVME drives are at Queue Depth 32. They are not in random reads which is FAR more important to load times. Most Queue Depth 1-4/random read speeds of these drives don't pass 65MB/s (this new Samsung hits 80MB/s which is quite good). I've had a $120 SX8200 Pro 1GB for 2 years that has among the best QD1-4 in testing and much cheaper than the 970 Evo. Samsung is overrated now in general for SSDs.

I just want to know when Microsoft is going to do a "real" Windows 10 update and replace Explorer.exe. It's an ancient POS with an ugly UI. It freezes all the time when browsing network shares. It should be multithreaded by default, not having to find and check off some hidden box, should have a much cleaner UI, and MUST have tabs so you can more easily move files around.

Yea with the amount of VRAM the 3090 has it's really for researchers. This was a big thing last-gen that very few people acknowledged with the 2080Ti, once the 2080S came out there was no value to the Ti model since it was only 10-15% ahead and $500-600 more.

Seems pretty low for recommended, has me worried about the complexity of the game. Oh well can't wait to see reviews and probably getting a RTX 3070 before I play it.

While it doesn’t mean much for a competitive game people usually play at 200fps I’d really like to see how it performs on medium/high settings with RT, DLSS, and Reflex enabled. If you can still hold ~140fps (just below G-Sync max) at 1080p or 1440p with some of these new GPUs it could actually be viable.

I just want to know which GPU (provided you have a strong CPU) will hold 1440p/60Hz Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing, DLSS, etc. and 1440p/144Hz in Warzone/PUBG.

PS5 DE seems priced perfectly. No interest in the Series S with half of its specs being last gen performance. Looking towards the PS5 with Demon’s Souls and an RTX 3070 in my near future.

Looks like a great GPU but too expensive for what I'm looking for. It would definitely get me back to locked 144Hz gaming that my GTX 1080 is slipping away from. Going to wait for the RTX 3070 and compare the price/performance.

I don't get how this is better than a permanent ban. There should be nothing for a cheater to do but delete the game.

I really wish people would educate themselves on the Series S. It has 1/3 the graphics performance, almost 1/2 the RAM, and is going to be the equivalent of 1080p/60fps LOWEST settings within 2 years once all the game ramp up for next-gen. It's going to feel dated very quickly. Yes it's aggressively well priced, but it would be better to have a "sweet spot" $400 model with better specs. Maybe that's what the PS5 DE will do.

Lol they couldn't give this garbage away. Maybe if the graphics and simulation quality goes way up with next-gen consoles (minus the cheap one that has 1/3 the GPU performance and 1/2 the RAM).

Microsoft just sabotaged the entire next generation of gaming with these garbage specs. 4tflops and 10gb of shared ram? Wow the lowest common denominator is now a joke. Especially when considering cheapest PS5 is 10tflops, and the RTX 3070 can do 20tflops and ray tracing.

This makes doing a nice new Ryzen 4700X and RTX 3070 build look mighty tempting for this fall/winter to blow away these next-gen consoles.

The price point is of course great for a console, but how do they really expect to offer "next gen" performance at that price. Maybe for 1080p/60fps gaming it'll still play the next-gen games at least, or something along those lines, but it seems like at a price this low it just holds games back having to design to the lowest common denominator.

"Wait for AMD to make its Big Navi move before you buy the Nvidia RTX 3080." I mean look waiting for Ryzen 4000 release before building a new rig is one thing, but reading this is honestly comical based on how awesome RTX 30 series looks and AMD's past GPU history.

Honestly who cares about 4K if you're PC gaming on a monitor. It would be much more impressive on a fast paced FPS game to show 1440p, holding 144fps with ray-traced lighting and DLSS 2.1.

This is one of the worst looking AAA games I've seen in some time.
