I did, too. Alas, we still lost out to a babbling Tea Party chimp.

Babbling? You're getting him confused with marbles-in-mouth Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, or our prez (Have you seen him without his trusty teleprompter? He makes George Bush look like a Rhodes scholar.). The ever-brilliant Cruz runs circles around them all mentally with his powerful oratory. Reid, Pelosi, and the prez have the combined brainpower of a newt.

Cruz is the best we've got, Pigeon. But I doubt 100 Ted Cruz's would be able to "fix" Washington.

The Supreme Court is out of control too along with our imperial president. We need more checks on their power and we can only do that by amending the Constitution. Congress will NOT amend it to limit their own power. The States need to amend it, a power granted explicitly in article 5 of the Constitution.

Creston, we need to go around congress by strengthening the power of the states, whose power has been purloined, through a State Amendment process advocated by Mark Levin. The Federal gov't is out of control and is limited no longer (with the help of a wayward supreme court) as the founding fathers intended.

I concur, Creston. If anything be left in disarray, the gov't will do it.

By the US Constitution, the gov't should be a limited one and the power ought to be returned to the people, serving at our behest.

HA HA. I wish he were like GW2. He was bad with the spending and creation of bureaucracy, but he has nothing on Obama. Obama is socialist? I'd call him more of a communist. Calling him a socialist is too kind.

Corporate oligarchy? To the right of Ronald Reagan? R.R. was for limited government, you know, like the founders intended. A couple of you here need to learn a thing or two.

This disgrace in office is as openly hostile to private enterprise, limited government, and the Constitution as you can get. Not to mention he's an arrogant, lazy, power hungry SOB. Obama's only there to be a celebrity and golf and vacation and hold fundraisers and go to bed while American's lives are in danger in Benghazi. Oops. Did I say too much?

I say the PC should get treated as THE premier platform (which it is, of course) while console versions get delayed. The PC platform needs to be promoted after so much of all the console version-first B.S.

This will also help spur innovation in PC gaming hardware, which will then trickle down to the next "uber" console. So, it's good for everybody.

The PC is the best tool for the job and should be something to strive for. The console is merely an introductory "gaming" device.

Kind of hard to do when you have an unlevel playing field. The console market is more lucrative all around because of...

1) The giant marketing machines of Sony and Microsoft (through HW sales and all the royalties from every game sold).
2) Shafting PC gamers with delayed launches for PC versions.
2) Designing games to lowest common denominator (the consoles) and not utilizing anywhere near the capabilities of the far superior PC. If they leveraged the PCs power everyone could see for themselves they much improved visuals and performance.

Turn the tables on all of these issues and things would change overnight. Not going to happen though. I will choose a better and superior (and cheaper) platform. Screw the consoles and MS and Sony who offer much less value for the gaming dollar.

I think they are saying "Look at the douche bag wit the iPad," not "iPad, iPad, iPad." They want to come by and look at it and touch it. Really?

You might as well wear a neon sign that says, "I bow down before the temple of Steve Jobs."

After all these things he lists, he still has the stones to say we'd have to be crazy NOT to drop 5 c-notes on one of these severely handicapped (but magical) mobile devices.

I think this is code for, "We REALLY want you to buy the CrapBox 360 version, because we make $10 royalty on every game and $50 on every CrapBox Live subscription. Once we milk it for all it's worth, we will renege, release the PC version and milk that, too."

Yeah, I think it's somewhere in South Dakota though. Not sure how many would make trek, save a few bison and indians.

"The PC version was delayed because we wanted to make the highest quality game across all platforms, but it just needed more time"

I think they mean MS and Sony didn't want them releasing it simultaneously, so they were paid off. Gotta give the consoles a huge leg up you know.

In closing, the moderator wrote, "Our goal is to give PC users the same quality product and performance level which you've seen on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, along with all of the review feedback."

Umm....let's hope not, because that would mean that it would suck them. The PC version should give PC gamers MUCH better quality and MUCH better performance. If not, then something is wrong and that something is Volition holding it back to not make the console versions look bad.

I almost wish they would all go with digital downloads, for the sake of taking away this scapegoat (for the most part). There are so many reasons a game doesn't sell besides this.

BTW, developers don't need to spend so heavily to develop much higher quality games for the PC. In fact, it would say it is more true for the consoles. There are many small PC developers putting out quality work on relatively small budgets. Console devs spend way too much on marketing and that's what their customers are paying for. I'll take quality over marketing every time.

As another poster brought up....
I don't know how this game looks or plays on the PC, but most console ports pale in comparison. Mass Effect is a proper one, but they are few and far between. If developers would develop proper PC versions first (with no delay) they might be shocked by the increased sales numbers.

PC gamers are NOT chipper about paying the same thing for a game that looks and plays like a console game. Developers, quit pretending to be surprised by this. Idiots.

This kind of garbage is what has turned PC gamers off and it has history to it. They need to rebuild their reps so they can regain the respect of PC gamers. That takes time.

How about GTA IV being up BEFORE it was shipped? You tell me which is worse. But wait, that was on the 360. It just got swept under the rug, because Microsoft told R* to. Umm....yeah, ok.

I own this game and liked it very much when it came out. Different characters/dialog, great and memorable storyline, and interesting moves/animations. Makes me laugh though when I see patches for it.

I don't have a problem with requiring ID checks. Aren't they required already (unless accompanied by an adult)? I generally don't care for needless laws though, especially if they aren't going to be enforced. Signs should not be required, because it already states on the box what the rating is why it is that rating (blood, violence, sex, etc.).

I understand what they are trying to do, but I think parents need to do their job (don't need gov't replacing parents) and extra laws are not really necessary. It's like going to the movie theater. Theaters check IDs for R rated movies. Will some kids sneak in anyway? Sure, but I think keeping things simple and reasonable is important.
