It's once again time to cash in on nostalgia and attract new people with old content using uprezed textures, more advanced shaders and gameplay designed at a time when the industry still took some risks. Colour me fucking bored.
This new subsidiary will focus on building game ecosystems designed to become truly evergreen and multi-platform.Translation: More micro-transactions?

I remember Nintendo suing anyone and everyone back in the 80s and 90s. Really made me dislike them as a company.
HoSpanky wrote on Sep 20, 2024, 07:59:Which trophies were that, if I may ask? I thought it was a pretty easy platinum. What did you have trouble with?
I really enjoyed this game, although I couldn’t get two of the trophies due to the ridiculous difficulty of their associated tasks. I can live with not being good enough to pull them off.
RogueSix wrote on Jun 23, 2024, 12:10:They are not wrong though, it is insanely hard. I have a char that was geared up for NG+ (level 175 or so) which basically has maxed HP and destroys early NG+ bosses in two hits. In the DLC, everything kills me in two hits, even normal mobs. And bosses have NG+7 amounts of HP, it's really hard. There's not much you can do, putting a skill point into vitality gives me like 5 HP (I got 2000). So this will not help at all.
Clown world confirmed over and over again. Souls-like players "bemoan" the difficulty of a From Soft game. What's next? Triathletes "bemoaning" that water is wet, that you have to face headwinds on a bike and that running is teh hard?![]()
Fucking muppets and pussies. You clowns bought a fucking souls-like game. Now deal with it. Git gud and STFU!![]()
Frijoles wrote on Jun 21, 2024, 14:42:Believe me, Mohg is much easier than basically anything in the DLC
I regret purchasing the DLC at this time. Locking it behind not just an optional boss, but one that's a pain in the ass to kill, is evil.

Good god, this game is so shitty that they are still patching and fixing it 20 years later. Will it ever run right?
Task wrote on Apr 14, 2024, 17:31:I highly doubt that will happen. The games have totally different combat and skill mechanics. Rebirth starts with "new" characters, low level and without skills basically. So a real seamless experience would require a full rework of everything. Add to this when part 3 comes out, it will most likely feature different mechanics as well. Also, this would result in one giant 300+ hours game, which would probably be a bit too much at once.
Hopefully once all 3 are out they can combine them into one seamless adventure.

Best for me.
Resident Evil 4 Remake devs were convinced it would be delayed because of tech issues: "I've never seen bugs like this."I mean, you could even see in the game where they dug up the bugs. So of course it is expected to be full of them
J wrote on Jan 30, 2024, 14:35:I see what you did there. Nice one
Yeah, RIP.
Jim wrote on Nov 5, 2023, 15:20:True, until the patch before this one, where they did some "balancing" (at least what they thought was balancing) for PVP, instead they ruined the experience for all players (ie. making ok spells completely unusable). They earned a great deal of (deserved) shitstorm for that everywhere, with many players changing their reviews to negative. If they didn't release this emergency patch, the game's reputation would be getting much worse real quick.
I have to say, lords of the fallen devs have been steadily rolling out substantial patches, to a greater degree than I have seen from any other company
