the motion blur
Apparently the forced motion blur was added in the "complete" edition of the game. The base game didn't have that (or at least it wasn't that noticeable). When I bought my PS4 Pro I had the hope that most games would support it and go to 60 FPS ... but unfortunately, that is not the case. Only a couple games actually do that (God of War, Spiderman are good examples). Bloodborne sadly is one of the 30fps ones

I don't care about ultra-wide, all I want is unlocked FPS I got the "GOTY" edition (or what it's called) and the 30 FPS and forced motion blur is killing me. Couldn't get around to finishing the game, even if I really really enjoyed it. Hoping for a good PC port...

I can't wait for this, but I'm going to pass on the EA. I'd rather dive directly into the full game when I do take the plunge.

Edit: Well I guess everyone agrees.
Same here, I think I'll maybe even wait for the obligatory definitive edition, as this will likely be the most polished version (just like D:OS 2).
EA is fine for rogue lite games (good examples are Hades and Dead Cells) but for games focusing on a long story, I think it's a bad idea. Sure, the developer will get early feedback on bugs and issues, but the players always have to (re-) play an unfinished product.

Watch_Dogs still kinda bothers me with the E3 'gameplay' vid and what we actually got. If you're going to do teaser/trailer with 'in-engine footage', then it'd better be like that when we play it.
Remember Anthem?

That sounds even worse than the first (major) story DLC of The Surge 2. I didn't buy it yet, although I really enjoyed the base game and played all the way through NG+3. Reviews say that the DLC is far too short (1-2 hours max).

I guess I'll pass on this one too, though I really enjoyed the base game.

Not following or playing Gwent except the original Witcher 3 Gwent, but this sounds suspicious:

Choose a stratagem when building an army to determine which unique bonus is gained for going first in the match.

So you basically win the RNG to go first AND get an additional bonus? That sounds like a drastic advantage (depending on the bonus of course). But judging from the history of Hearthstone, going first generally increases the win rate already by a lot. It would make more sense to add such a bonus to the one going second (like the Coin in HS, don't know if Gwent has a similar mechanism).

This will be interesting, I didn't know that such EU regulations exist. Of course, there are two sides to the medal, but the geo-blocking of the shops is just fighting the symptom and not the cause.

It seems wrong to have the exact same (digital or not) product differ in price by more than 60-70% only by crossing some borders, especially if you pay in the "same" Euro currency. For example, in Poland you pay around half the price for food as you would in Germany (give or take). For me it's kind of hard to understand why my Euro gives me twice the amount of stuff in another country.

If the EU will win and geo-blocking will be removed, there will be a rise of cd-key sellers from (mostly) unknown key sources. Before geo-blocking you could get each AAA title on Steam for about 1/3 of the regular price, or even less. Will be interesting to see how this evolves.

I thought the most requested feature from players was the removal of Denuvo, but the developer has a strict "nope" stance. I would like to try this game out, but I won't buy it as I will not support any developer/publisher wasting money and resources into Denuvo.

Edit: Apparently Denuvo was silently removed in a patch a few days ago. Woot! That was unexpected. Guess I'll give it a go then

Holy hells, this looks horrible. Sprites on a C-64 had better animations than this. India's leading game developer? Ten years development? "Award winning"? Even before release? What reward could that be, Vaporware award?
This looks like it was abandoned in 2009 (rightfully so, from the looks) and just now, someone found this on their harddrive and thought to make some quick Steam $$...

I think what they really meant is "start paying". It seems like Valve already went a few steps back with the monetization, as can be seen in this Reddit thread

Is this even a point and click game anymore?
No, sadly not. I just recently played through the first 3 games, and absolutely loved them. Just then I discovered that a new game was in the making, and was pretty excited.
I bought it yesterday when there was not a single review yet on steam. This game is no point&click adventure. If you go to the controls, you can see a controller layout and stuff like "invert Y". In the game, you walk around with the controller and do some simple actions at certain interaction points, just like in a Telltale game.
Currently, I don't know if I would recommend it, as I wasn't too gripped by the game so far. The walking around is a bit clumsy, especially the orientation, because the camera position is mostly static, like in old Resident Evil games. There's no map or quick navigation or something like that.
And it seems to be poorly optimized, sometimes you get good framerate, but sometimes it drops for no apparent reason. As an example, walking around is fine, then you examine an object in the inventory and suddenly it goes down to ~20-30 fps until you exit the inventory again. Also the loading times between different rooms is pretty high, even with an SSD. This could turn out to be quite annoying if you need to explore or backtrack a lot (which will probably be the case in an Adventure game).
So currently I would advise to wait for some patches that hopefully come and improve the experience.
