I sincerely thought it had already been announced. Kind of hard to keep up with all the PS3 titles much less all cross platform! It's either coming time released, or will get shot down by MS paying much bigger money since EA owns ME now. I am banking it is coming because a dev let it slip according to Shaknews (end of January) that they were working with PS3 on it, then CEO of EA called it multiplatform in an earnings meeting. Lingo used only for multiple console releases, not 1 console and PC release. Add to that the fact both EA and Bioware will not say "No it's not coming out on the PS3", they only say stuff like, "We can only confirm the titles coming out on the announced systems". They were asked directly at GDC and had that response as well. So officially, I guess it is not announced yet and my post was something I should have expanded on in detail like this. Add to this the fact if it were an Xbox exclusive still, I think we would have heard about 7 exclusives during the MS portion of E3 instead of 6. This is EA we are talking about now, they aren't in the exclusives business much if at all. I am still banking on it coming to PS3, and will not be buying the Xbox version until I get a firm "no" from E3 or other sources. Sorry for the confusion.

The problem is the capacity for a real game collection doesn't exist yet and I am not so keen on any service being a gate keeper. I don't know how people even download movies and tolerate it. Ah well, get the discs while I can and find a new hobby while playing oldies.

I take comfort in the fact the Sony comments included an understanding that they realize a significant portion of their customers want to purchase physical media and they intend to continue producing it. Hoping that stays true for some time to come.

Just because you are ignorant to the quality and make up of each title, does not make them bad titles. I guess you would have called Peggle a bad title seeing it on a list way before you ever saw the real game.

It's becoming a focus on the traditional disc based titles now. Inching ever closer. They all want it to be that way, Xbox is just being more agressive. I think the threat of On-live balogna is putting a fire under them. The destruction that is being caused in order to stop resales is a tragedy.

Stop giving money to companies that piss you off, mistreat you, ruin your fun, or don't do things the way that allow you to enjoy your hobby. Money talks. People keep complaining about companies then they run out and buy their next product over and over. Step up and stop paying for it and get your friends to do it too. I haven't bought a single Steam item since 1/2/09 and right now don't plan on ever buying anything again. If you don't like MS, Sony, a specific game publisher, or even the pizza place down the street, stop buying their stuff.

I get the feeling that coming to Xbox some time in the future, download only titles, and very expensive hard drive upgrades. Impulse/Steam on a console only makes me quit the console too.

I got this for PSP (UK Import only)

Saw this on Blue's a couple weeks back and decided to order it. I love Axis and Allies and Panzer General. This game is a wonderful hybrid and the PSP version is the full featured computer version ported over. I must say it's quite impressive for a turn based game. Build units, collect PP, like Axis and Allies. Play out the battles hex by hex like Panzer General. All nations, 5 different time periods (campaigns), tech research trees, land, sea, and air (huge maps!). The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that it does not have actual artillary, they are kind of rolled in to the infantry attack system.

MAG - I don't think you actually get to fly stuff. Just parachute drop and things like that. There are ground vehicles if I remember right.

Magic the Gathering is a good score for Xbox. Here's hoping it's 1 all encompassing game, without the electronic booster pack model. I haven't played it since the years of moxes, lotus, time walk, twister, mind twist, ancestral recall, etc..

We want to bring content for solo players and casual players...

PSP 3000 is aweful. Grab a 2000 if you want one (they still sell on Amazon). Go is too small for me and DL only.

I have played Fuel for about 2 hours. First impressions aren't good. Low poly, ok landscapes with a feeling of very little items and vehicles (many are unlocked but I bet some are held back for DLC). The giant map is the feature, because to me it's a budget downloadable game level of quality as far as the racing is concerned. The engine sound slike a dude on a kazoo. There is this constant smash sound that occurs at every bump. Even when landing on a motorcycle, the same smash sound over, and over, and over. They used a simulated video filter approach to mimic dust instead of particles which really looks odd, like a swarm of flies. It may get more fun deeper in and with more unlocked.

There aren't really crashes either, just a quick black screen reset on to the track. I guess that makes for good track times, but it just feels strange and abrupt. I have yet to see any weather but have only played for about 2 hours. I won't judge it yet, but like I said, first impressions are not so good.

More exclusive DLC. Totally unfair to customers. I don't care who is getting it.

@phinn - It may work, but your problem will be having to go get a memory card reader. They are cheap but it's kind of a lot to do for just 1 game save.

E3 is not the center of the gaming universe anymore. I expect the PS3 slim and the price cut to be at the Tokyo show. There have been numerous references to wanting to sell off existing stock. It also makes sense to announce the slim as the new and cooler priced normally, and then reduce the existing model.

I figured people would start looking closer at what they have done. I think all the maps will be really different too, instead of halls and rooms and a house here and there.

They are still the giant apathetic machine in my book and people who bought the first one should get a discount. It would impress me if they did.

I am just glad it's multi platform. I will gladly not use my old save to switch to PS3.

I think it's going to be pretty good. Not perfect but worth day 1.

Yeah, yeah, twist and make stuff up again. You are a total waste of time. I never tried to pass off crossplatform as exclusive (that's why I said it will play all these too) and the list is only cross platform stuff. And there is quite a bit not listed still on the cross platform.

The PSXtreme article is reporting on what was said by Sony. Xbox included downloadable games in it's 6 exclusives so hell yeah they count (where did I say they didn't? You made that up again).

I made the offer, you don't get to change it. Take it or weak out, and Verno has to agree too before I spend a single moment doing what either of you could do yourself.

I could care less if you guys buy a PS3 (nor do I work for them, or have any present affiliation with them). My stance has always been that looking at all the gaming options available, PS3 offers the best gaming selection, innovation, and value. Hell most the big names Xbox calls exclusives or really big deals are the games cultivated on this process by Sony. That process is continuing on PS3 and there will be many new stars and games discovered. I read a recent news quip that detailed Sony has over 2800 employees specifically dedicated to finding the next new undiscovered developers.

I am sick of PC rehashes or playing the same ole sheet, different day with also having DRM stacked on top. I gave Xbox a shot and they are too busy chasing money to be the best cantidate for real gaming from my perspective. They even want to start moving Xbox games like Steam:

Also FF14 is an exclusive until an actual deal is announced. Right now there isn't one.

Xbox included exclusive downloadable games in it's whopping 6 exclusives (Epic's game, the one you are excited about, is a 10 hour game available for download). PS3 has 35 exclusives EASILY before the next E3 on disc and download, specifically for ps3. Sorry you are calling people liars without knowledge. Anyone who can type "google" can find them.

Last I checked, PS3 is ahead of where Xbox was 1 year ago. They are ahead of Xbox's growth curve and will accelerate even more by the time GOW3 hits.
