Pine scented? I don't care about the ions, it's the pine scent I want.

7. Move Apr 21, 2002, 10:49 theAntiELVIS

Here in Northern CA, they give you a ticket if you aren't moving at the flow of traffic, no matter how fast it's moving. I got nailed for doing 55 in a 55 zone, but the cop claimed the prevailing flow of traffic was 65, and I was a hazard to other drivers.

I think he just wanted to see where my girlfriend's hand was.

37. Re: Logo Problems Apr 15, 2002, 20:26 theAntiELVIS

You're going to find this problem quite often when using large fonts. Most software is developed using small fonts. At most companies I've worked for QA didn't even check things under large fonts.

Just buy new glasses.

The old Doom/Abuse/Starship Troopers genre. I hope they do something new with it.

64. Re: Shack's Popularity? Apr 12, 2002, 06:25 theAntiELVIS

I think what they may be saying is, porn is a sign of immaturity, simple-mindedness, and is often offensive to many people.

Three really good reasons to swim in images of naked flesh until you drown!

Personally I prefer intellectual porn - there's nothing like a picture of a beautiful woman playing with herself while reading the classics.

Why, thank you. Yes, I am.

Sorry, Blue - seemed appropriate to shill under the circumstances. You guys want to know just how good Blue's is, compare it to my messy bedroom of a site!

All the 'tards visit shacknews, that's why the majority of the comments are just what I call "web farts".

Blue's has a more refined, more intelligent, more hygienic crowd. We type less but say more.

7. A really smart glass... Apr 5, 2002, 17:36 theAntiELVIS

...would know when you don't need another beer.

Maybe some day we'll have food that won't let us eat it because we're overweight.

u swallow must be like that guy in the commercial who "finished" the Internet. God forbid there should be any links-of-the-day that have been in existence for more than a few minutes!

I've been into the beneficial aspects of gila monster spit for years now. What's more, I believe their piss will cure cancer. About time someone put this stuff in an easier to take form.

3. Spiderman Mar 28, 2002, 10:13 theAntiELVIS

Hollywood will fuck it up, just like everything else they do. I used to have al the original Spdey comics from the 1960s. It was revolutionary. While other super heroes were just cardboard (no joke intended) characters, Spidey had a life. Yeah, it was a hopelessly screwed-up life, but at least half of every comic dealt with Peter Parker's personal problems. Like a super hero can't have a girlfriend, a normal job, etc.

I haven't read Spiderman since those days - I took a peek in the 1980s and it sucked.

We've had Superman, Batman, X-Men (I fucking hate X-Men), those bad Captain America movies (I loved Captain America - I used to have the originals from the 1940s). So what I want to know is, where is the best comic of all time? Where is The Fantastic Four?

If you do write to your congressperson or whoever, they generally have a policy of not counting any messages that use profanity or threaten anyone or anything like that.
