Oh great another fucking game critic blaming shit on piracy instead of where the real cause of the problem truly is. There is just more MONEY to be made on the consoles.

It just BARELY beats out Batman Begins

Jesus, Batman Begins sucked big dick. At least in my oppinion. The ninja meets dark jedi bullshit really ruined the movie for me. I mean WTF?

I was gonna see Ironman just for the soundtrack, somehow alcoholics dressed up in tin suits don't really get me off, but now.....

BTW that price list is more or less "Copy & Paste" every other MMO out there.

Shouldn't they lower the Subscription price a bit, to draw in new players?? Not to mention just to annoy the competition.

Yeah collonial marines is supposed to be a simultaneous release on all platforms including PC. Looking forward to that game.

As for Alien 3, I don't see what everyone is whining about. It was a damn good movie, sure it's not as good as the original. But it captures the paranoia and fear good enough. The direction is also flawless, remember this is the movie that launched David Fincher's career. Way better than any monster/horror movie released since.

Sambront, my guess is that it doesn't make em money. What it does do is give them free publicity, advertising and an even greater prestige and standing among PC gamers in general.

In a way thats making money indirectly.

Interesting article that, i would dare say even "honest" enough answers from Doug there. (As honest as youre going to get from a marketing suit that is)

I really, REALLY hated Steam when i bought HL2 at retail the day it came out. I was like, WTF IS THAT SHIT???
The horribly slow install, and the even slower decryption took HOURS!!! It took me ages to find out how to even start the game without Steam running in the background.

Ive warmed up to it in recent times though, all credits for Valve for this app.

Erm so lemme get this straight....The BIG ANNOUCEMENT is that they GAVE AWAY the www.diablo3.com domain name to Blizzard.....

So if tommorow some dude sends me an email and claims that Im the lucky owner of the www.freespace3.com domain name, that automatically means that Freespace 3 is in development. LOL!

Shiiit, if D3 was really in development Blizzard would probably pay good $$$ for that site. This news is just retarded and meaningless.

Yeah what's up with THQ, wtf??? Ever since they got the WH:40k licence theyve been eerily quiet. My guess is they are sitting on a MMO in development and keeping quiet on it until the fantasy Warhamer MMO is released.

Goddamn I never knew there was a remake of Space Hulk, Im gonna download that as soon as i get back from work!!!

Space Hulk (the PC game not the board game) introduced me to the WH:40k universe and the Blood Angels, and Ive been a fan ever since, that game was really like no other at the time it was released. It scared the shit out of me every time I played, and it didn't really take fancy graphics to do that. Really tense gameplay that, even though it was sort of turn based.

LoL Hyatus, this is a gaming news site right? Since you are here you play games right? I would also assume that you play games on the PC right? If none of these are true you can quit reading on and fuck off and go play some more GTAIV.

This is some of the biggest news for developers in the industry and as such it affects us gamers. Since Valve is basically releasing the develpment tools that they made Steam with FOR FREE, this news is BIG! It affects us gamers since we will probably see a dozen new services like Steam pop up within a month or so, with hopefully some quality titles.

Typical bullshit! Why don't they just own up and say that console games make MUCH MUCH MORE MONEY than PC games, especially PC games that have steep hardware requirements like Crysis. Fuck it. I hope they bankrupt to hell. Crysis was a mediocre shooter with a terribly optimised engine and a dumb as hell and boring AI. WOW YOU CAN GRAB ENEMIES WOW!

Im not saying piracy is not a part of it, because it is, but to completely blame piracy for this is fucking degenerate LYING.

Fuck you Crytek, you deserve what you get.

You do understand that is what is a "quest". Kill this. Get that. Activate/Break that.

That is every quest in every single fantasy movie, novel, poem, and game since the beginning of time.

For example. The Beowulf story.

Quest 1: Kill Grendel.
Quest 2: Kill Grendel's Mother.
Quest 3: Kill New Monster.

Okay, he didn't technically kill Grendel's Mother, but I don't think sleeping with her gave him any XP either.

Quest = kill, get, use. That was the way heroes from Hercules to Conan got their quests. Seriously, quests for heroes don't involve much else.

SCG you are either retarded, or you were born in the 1990's.

Go play Fallout, or Fallout 2, or Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, or Morrowind, or KOTOR or any of a number of fantastic RPG's out there to find out what real QUESTS are about.

What you are talking about is standard MMO grind, nothing to do with RPG quests.

Offtopic: Anyone remember Bioforge? It was an old adventure game where you played this big blue cyborg. I remember you could tear an enemy's arm off and beat him to death with it. That was sweet
