This game is going to get cracked, just like Bioshock did.
That is a fact. This scheme might deter a few casual pirates but the problem is that it WILL DETER paying customers in a far greater number, not to mention the bad publicity that this will spawn for EA as well as Bioware post release when people start reporting problems with this scheme. I would hate to be on the recieving end of that stick....

You have my sympathies, and my condolances. It must really suck to have this kind of scheme forced down your throat.
Im pretty sure you can already predict what kind of backlash will ensue for Bioware from all of this. Anyway I wish the best of luck to you, but I will not be buying this game until the protection method is changed.
Why not use a one-time activation registration or decryption method like Valve does? Its far less intrusive and removes a lot of problems associated with continual security measures. And it would allow for the game to be shipped to the masses before any pirates could possibly warez it. This comment was edited on May 7, 09:00.
