It's a shame that Motley Crue actually sucks donkey balls. Other than the flash and the showmanship, I swear it's probably the most overrated rock/metal band ever.

Honestly the only excuse that isn't directly your own damn fault is if you're injured or have a lifelong disease that costs you everything you make. I'm so fucking tired of hearing this same line from you, Cutter. Stop blaming someone else for what you've done to yourself.

Lol, though Cutter is usually the master of hyperbole you take the prize here Spanky, "Stop blaming someone else for what you've done to yourself" is a bit of a stretch even in this case. Back on topic it's obvious that entry level prices do matter to some extent, perhaps not as much as Cutter is making them out to, but they can and will directly impact the success of a product or a line of products.

Also, I thought Snyder's Watchmen was pretty awesome. Why does everyone hate on that flick?

That's the point I wanted to add here... glad to see I'm not the only one. I think he did an outstanding job on The Watchmen, including improving the hell out of the way the story concludes. I have nothing positive to say about Man of Steel, but I think The Watchmen was a home run.

Yeah, I can't get the hate for that flick, it's absolutely the best comic book film there is.

I wonder what the sixth mode will be? Arena 1vs1? (Only 5 modes were shown in this demo, and of those only 3 of those in a little tiny bit more detail.)

That article about S. Korea and your comments are proof that Americans are for the most part STILL fucking clueless about the world. Not everything is America, nor should it be, I take it you've never been to South Korea have you? Well I have. So please, shut the fuck up. When there you have kids skipping school, dropping out, due to gaming addiction you have serious problems, when you have adults skipping work, due to gaming addiction, you have serious problems. When your goddamn economy is suffering due to gaming addiction, you have serious problems. When you have natality (FFS!) problems due to gaming addiction you have serious fucking problems!

This is not Jack Thompson batshit crazy agendas we are talking about here, this is a nation with a serious problem that needs solving and quickly....

I wonder what D3 would have been like if Blizzard North had been left to it's own devices and allowed to finish the game. I guess we will never know *sigh*

If Blizzard North had been left alone it would have been Condor and Diablo likely would have been a very meh turn based game and thus no Diablo II or III.

Eh, I was talking about D3.

Paradox Space Strategy Game Stellaris Is Out May 9th

Sweet! This has been top of my list of anticipated titles for some time now. Please don't suck!

My excitement level died for MoO4 when I found out how dumbed down they made it so I'm down for seeing what Paradox has to offer for Stellaris

Yeah the Stellaris game could be awesome, will wait and see though, the combat sounds very uninspiring.

You subscribe to their newsletter. Big deal. Im already getting spammed by the likes of Blizzard, EA, Ubisoft, etc. and I sure as fuck didn't get nothing for free from them, so yeah compared to that other shit which you pay money for and still get spammed, I'd consider this a pretty easy and free lunch.

GM mosquitoes? Hell no! Give me the mass spraying of pesticides any day.

Any day? How about every day? What do you think those Chemtrails you see every day are?

Holy fuck, surely you're not serious?

Chemtrails are the main stay of government mind control; they weaken the frontal lobe's ability to reason, in-large part hindering abilities to draw links between consequence and action and future outcomes. This leaves us susceptible to more basal emotional responses such as fear and anger which the government under direction of the NWO uses to manipulate the populace. How else do you explain things like the Kardashians, the tides and why its so hard to tell sarcasm from what someone actually thinks on the internet? Grin

Well actually I was responding to Kxmode, but yeah, I hope he was being sarcastic.

Yeah most of the ST movies were pretty lame compared to the shows, but there were some gems in there too. ST VI, the undiscovered country is probably my favorite of the lot.

How long have they been working on it? Because it seems to me that they must have restarted it a couple of times, or they haven't really been putting any real resources into development. Now that I think about it, I'm more inclined to believe the latter is the case since the Witcher3 is such a huge and detailed world I doubt they did any real asset development until it was completed.

as i understand it, what occulus is doing is the bare minimum for acceptable VR. we all remember the complaints about dizziness from lag and screendoor effect with previous OR versions, so i don't see how sony could be avoiding that while releasing a cheaper version.

Simple. Lower resolution. It looks like ass, but it won't make you sick because the frame rate will be ok.

Know what I would like to see from AMD, or Nvidia or anyone that often releases drivers like this.

Take a "Tic - Toc" approach. In one version add the new stuff and in alternating versions fix everything that was wrong in the previous version, without adding anything including bugs.

That way I, along with other sane people, can just download the version that likely won't mess things up and ignore these "game ready", or whatever, versions.

That would require reason and common sense. Something severely lacking today pretty much everywhere.

The entire point of Doom was the scarey ugly monsters, you hide that in armor and give them guns you completely lose that atmosphere.

It's been a while since you played Doom1 or 2 hasn't it? I can tell, since you don't seem to remember that half of the demons in Doom1 and 2 had some kind of cybernetic implants and/or weapons.

I hate to be that guy... but they keep hyping how fast the MP is, in this press release they call it "VERY FAST"... But the video certainly doesn't show that. Looks middling.

Yeah the speed is nowhere near the TURBO speed which was kind of mandatory in MP Doom1/2. I fully expect some kind of console or server command which would up the movement speed in some way. Still, it looks faster than 90% of the MP shooters released these days. I don't want to prejudge it because it certainly looks like the best game iD has made since Quake3, I just hope it plays great too. More worrying than the movement speed, which as I said I believe will be something that can be set serverside are the weapons. In particular the BFG and the SSG, which should be the best guns in the game, but should require a ton of skill to use, just like in Doom1 and 2. Still with today's ADHD generation and their utter inability to play anything without major hand-holding, hoping for classic oldschool guns and mechanics is probably hoping too much...
