For my uses, I don't even bother with these platforms anymore.

Wait around a year or more for a minor performance increase, none of which surfaces in most games? Or just get the consumer socket version, and get the same performance cheaper and earlier.

I'm not exactly your typical user. I do audio/video/programming etc.

As someone that obsessed over getting HEDT broadwell or a HEDT skylake (thinking it would come out earlier than 3q 2017) I'm really glad i didnt wait and took the plunge!

a silent majority has won an election.

The silent majority actually lost, maybe things will change but as of right now Clinton won the popular vote according to every link i can find. So thats twice in 16 years (4 elections) that the will of the people has been over turned by the electoral college. I'm not a Hillary supporter, nor do I like Trump, however i detest the electoral college.

Wish it would deepen, but the corrupt car lobby makes up nearly 30% of German Industries.. and many politions are linked to the scandal here as well. So unsurprisingly nothing will happen here due to this. VW even had the balls to come out and say that a defeat device that defeats a testing cycle is not illegal (to which even our corrupt politicians had choice harsh words)

In the end, in some way I am glad the US pushes for this, because this stupid diesel tech is a crutch on cars here for nearly 30 years now. Diesel to this day is subsidized at the fuel station so everyone not driving a diesel literally pays for it anyway. This whole thing is fucked up. ;(

That's what vexes me the most. You look at countries with draconian laws like the three strikes laws in the US where guys are literally in prison for life for dumb shit like shoplifting. And here were have felony fraud on an unparalleled scale and not one fucking person will go to jail, much likely even lose their job or bonues/stock options, etc. Like Marvin said, "makes me wanna holler, throw up both my hands."

Unless it's tax evasion or financial fraud (especially when it comes to stock related reporting laws) you won't ever see the higher echelons of limited liability company constructs go behind bars here

And like you I don't get why the USA has 3% diesel, but Germany, a country that isn't blessed by vast landscapes and distances, has 53% ... makes no sense

Regarding the disparity I remember reading it had to do almost entirely with refineries. The US has more gasoline refineries and the EU has more diesel refineries.

When did they start making sports games for PC again?

Besides NFL, they pretty much never stopped.

Just finally upgraded my gaming rig, went from a 2500k /w a 460gtx to a 6800k /w a 1070gtx....wow what a difference! Picked up Witcher3 GOTY edition as well to really savor it. Feelin good!
Nice!
I am still rocking the 2500k with a 970GTX
I've been thinking about upgrading for a while but haven't found a game to push me over the edge.
I'm only gaming at 1080p mind you.

If i had a 970 i probably wouldnt of upgraded anything. Honestly what pushed me over the edge was i really needed to differentiate my 2500k into a separate computer as its become my home server. If i were you i'd probably wait until Canon lake cpu and 11/12 series gpu.

Steam says 1500 hours for me, although its probably around 2500 as i played a lot before it was ever added to steam (i like having the steam overlay). I think i've spent around 100$ here and there, mostly on bank upgrades. This is the Diablo2 sequel i've waited for.

I dont say this lightly, best ARPG ever! As for GGG they deserve every penny they get. They actually listen to the community and never entertain any pay to win content.

Why? I looked into Subzero before and as far as I could tell it was just an image thing, like owning a Ferrari...

Ferrari's are hand built and one of the most dependable cars ever built for anyone with experience with them. So ...try again?

Samsung is the only SSD's i'll buy. It comes down to them making the memory and the controller. Since they've been doing both for so long it seems like they know atleast how to do that. Runner up would be intel, after that its hit or miss depending on the controller and memory used (which is always a mix/match thing)

I just ordered a WD Red 8tb to go in my server (currently has four 3tb Red's in there). Wish Backblaze could get more WD's in bulk so they could test more of those in numbers.

Anyone understand Win7 licensing. I've tried to google around with no luck. The question being, is it legal to have multiple installs on the same PC? I.e. 2nd drive being a backup, in case of issues. Obviously only one drive will run att and when updating it would show the same PC but just a different drive with the same serial.

raid 1 and done? Although as long as both arent on at the same time and its the same hardware id's then it would be fine.

Why not just find a local store with the model your looking at and bring a tape measure to make sure?
