Regarding Rimworld's art style, the creator basically stole Prison Architech's style and the PA devs were very cool about it and gave him their blessing. Basically the Rimworld dev wasnt good at creating characters so he 'borrowed' them . All in all, its a great game that only gets better especially with mods.

I got to the point that I had a huge army yet nothing to do with it.

The main problem with M&B is that it screams for pemadeath mode. This would change the whole dynamic and made it million times more challenging/interesting.

This sequel looks absolutely fantabulous. Destructible castles got teh 6 y.o. in me salivating. Hope they will keep the promises for the AI. And yeah, that permadeath. It`s a trendy thing now, so hopefully...

Permadeath is just as simple as to abandoning your game once you get killed. Never understood why it has to be forced on a player. They had an ironman mode where you only had 1 save and could never backtrack after a major loss etc.

Instant buy for me. M&B has so much replay value and the mods multiply that by so much.

He ruined D3. Even though it seems more popular now, i still think its ruined as i detest the underlying mechanics etc. I loath that man for helping destroy one of my most beloved game series of all time.

Now back to Path of exile...

AMD already stated that they wont be competing at the high end of the GPU spectrum on their last quarter earnings report. So telling someone to not buy a 1080 because of what AMD might come out with is just ridiculous. Now if someone was going to buy a 1060 then there might be some merit to it. Here's the link

A crossover between two franchises Total War and Warhammer, gee all they had to do to get sale records was not screw it up. Shocker.

I wonder if they'll ever do a Total War:Lord of the Rings? Then I could play as Sauron. Crush the puny forces of men, detonate Minas Tirith, torture Gandalf, and eat hobbits(!). Very fun.

Probably not since there's already been an excellent mod thats been out for years that rings that bell. The Third Age

I'm pretty happy with my g400s mouse. Its not all that expensive (88$ on amazon it looks like). I have fairly large hands and needed a large mouse to replace my razer deathadder, this was just slightly bigger because it has a bigger 'hump'. Its been great so far, even after i've dropped it about a dozen times.

Still waiting for Big Pascal. This shit isn't the flagship. That's why its performance isn't all that it could have been.

This... before i buy anything i'm waiting to see just what the 'real' pascal /w 16gb of hbm2 can do.

I'm a sucker for 4x games, and so far with 36 hours played (over the span of 2 games played) its the spiritual successor to MOO2. If you loved MOO2, liked GalCiv2, etc then this is a must buy.

They're also doing a half-assed job at catching unblockers.

Are you implying this is a bad thing. As an aussie i only see it as a positive.

Oh please, this isnt for triple A games or anything of the like. It doesnt force any developer to use it nor does it force it on the user. All it does is unify development between their phone and tablets and desktop which for SMALL app developers is frankly needed. Nothing is going to change, its just another tool for developers to use.

Cry me a river...

This is a really huge expansion for PoE. The introduction of subclasses should really add another layer in already the most complex ARPG there is.

Its interesting how Yahoo has become the goto proxy to buy Alibaba stock rather then just buying it directly, which is actually just a promissory note held in the caymans with no real backing.
