I always have two things to say about Apple & Steve Jobs.

1: Jobs is dead! Get over it!
2: Get out from underneath Job's shadow.

Sure Apple needs to be competitive but you do need to do right by your customers. Oh and look at them as customers and not consumers.
Perhaps they can start by helping to convince carriers to not rip off customers.

Oh here's a novel idea! Why don't they put that Steve Jobs inspired creative energy into coming up with a viable solution for Spectrum Crunch. Buying the unused bandwidth from the major TV stations will only go so far.

Same here. It's too little too late for this game.
If WB had a tight schedule for this game then they can go pound sand.

Shift it a social media account with Gearbox. Access to their social media functions (i.e. forums).

The catch is that they give out codes for Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel for the gold chest keys and outfits for the classes. Some keys expire and some last forever.

They still give out keys on occasion. Randy Pitchford gave out a codes a few months ago.

On the other, it's all 'the same'...
That's a given with expansions and one of WoW's biggest drawbacks. You can't change the core without making a new game. Changes can help extend the game's life but even that can go so far.

I don't see how this will improve the situation. If they aren't willing to negotiate or even communicate then party size for queuing isn't going to change a thing.

If you want to play for the story, it's very much worth it.
For me, story and Star Trek don't mix well.
I used to watch TNG when it was running and the story started to fall apart after that. TNG got bland towards the end and DS9 had to go through some crazy fluctuations to keep it going. I couldn't watch DS9 or Voyager. I watched the first of the new movies and it was crap. I'm glad I watched someone's copy.

I haven't been paying attention to this game but I'm kind of surprised that it's still going. What's the population been averaging these days?

Even if I remotely thought about playing WoW again, I would probably just wander around all the abandoned areas. Everyone just flocks to the new zones from what I've read.

This is a major issue with WoD. Nobody flocks to new zones (Tanaan aside) because they're all sitting in their garrison. There's no reason to go anywhere. You can queue to anything. You can get resources in your garrison (herbs and mining). Tanaan is crap anyway unless you loved crystal farming and wanted to do it multiple times a day. Aside from the boss, there's no reason to go there once you finish rep grinding for flying.

I really wish they'd bring back a Dalaran type city so I know other people exist in the world.
The Garrison was an experiment with changing up the usual routine. It also was an attempt to satisfy the Character Housing itch that some people had. They needed to make it something that assisted with "progression" or it wouldn't have been worth the money to develop.
Hopefully with all the feedback and metrics they can fine tune the idea.

Shrinking the content cycles has been a goal sense at least Cata. The problem is getting enough people in the right areas to pump the content out.
Getting the content out fast like a well oiled machine is how they are going to keep the game alive. They can't pull out anything ground breaking without having to make a new game.

I guess thats one way to alienate the current player base
It's the reverse
You're bringing in more players with this to provide more players for the existing ones to matched with and against. It's a win win.

It proves you can be banned for no reason - and I doubt that Blizzard unbanned everyone who was innocent. Buy those Blizzard games on a steep discount - it hurts less when they take it away after they have your cash.
The false positives happen but the bulk of the people who claim that they banned for "no reason" are lying their asses off.
The No Reason excuse happens with every ban wave. So does blaming siblings or claiming that they were hacked.

It's not unheard of for bot authors to coach players on what excuses to use and how to behave when they are confronted. WoW got it quite often and the authors were stupid enough to leave their posts visible to random Google searches.

Then a week later you can watch those same people whining on the bot websites about those lies not working. Then being told "tough luck"

Muting them will only cause them to focus on switching to physical tactics to get their attention fix.

As for ignore...Blizzard's ignore function has a cap. They're afraid that some people will be so upset over the toxic players that they will ignore too many people and thus completely take out the social function which is part of their games.
The goal is for the community to stand against these fools, not hide from them. Too many people hiding will just encourage the behavior.

I was going to wait for the GotY version later on to buy this. Just to avoid this problem as well as save money. But after reading the synopsis of the whole story I've decided that I won't buy this game at all. I don't like where they went with the story so I'm not going to buy it.

If I recall correctly all Diablo 3 announcements came from the trade show in Germany. If they don't do it there than they'll do it at Blizzcon.
Nevalistis told me at last year's Blizzcon that they know the demand for another expansion is there. I had told her that I was disappointed that they didn't announce one then but her and one of the other community girls looked at me funny and said "But we JUST released ROS!"

After watching this video gotta say that I think this character will get nerfed to the ground before this game even sees open beta.

I felt that way about the first video. With the time warping dual pistols character.
This guy starts out pretty bad with rockets but seems to pick it up quick.
That's usually how it goes. It just takes time for your mouse hand (or stick thumb on consoles) to get coordinated with the movement speeds and the frame rate.
I wonder what the splash damage is for the rockets. Range and amount of damage. Though I doubt it will stay the same by the time the game goes into beta.
