On the plus side, if the AI can figure out one of Ubisoft's games, it can figure out most of them. Without any extra learning.

Its true. The worst part is they actually let it go out of beta while being a memory hog and that it can't properly draw the library screen on many people's systems, including my own. It takes 5-10 seconds now to load the library page and I have to move my mouse around to get it to draw the screen faster. All for a bunch of portrait shaped icons, a unremovable "whats new" row of game info I probably don't need. All games are listed on the left side in small font no matter what and clicking on one brings up the old game page with news/links.

Gone is the ability to minimize that if I don't want/need it. As said above by MB, its UI designers ignoring function to make something new and supposedly pretty.

I have this problem too. I also cannot simply use arrow keys to move between games and then press return to start it. I'm not happy with my Steam library GUI at the moment.

Is this the patch which makes it good?

I do feel obligated to point out that I appreciate the humour of this situation.

A game which depicts a cynical take on corporate practices, which restricts its launch to two exlusive platforms: One of which has established itself by giving people money to go back on their promises, devaluing products by giving them away for free to try and entice people, comes across as generally lacking of features, and whose longevity is questionable; the other whom has upped the minimum requirements for the game from Windows 7 to a platform they previously tried to force people into upgrading to through updates (just because their store requires it), that's often seen in headlines with serious patch-related problems, a company that claims to be committed to this platform - yet is using an exclusive to choke the market to a degree and, as the company behind the main operating systems for the platform, is sending a message that this kind of thing is okay.

I would like to roleplay as a character who won't touch Windows 10 until it stays out of the headlines for buggy messes for a significant period of time, and has an adversion to underdeveloped game store software.

I liked Planetside. I enjoyed the BFRs. Yes, really. I liked the balance of having a lot of power, with having to be on top of enemies who would be looking to undermine that hulk of metal at any cost. I enjoyed the fact that a cloaked infiltrator could be hacking away at you if you're not careful. I liked that game a lot.

Planetside 2... I tried. I found it unappealing, and tactically vacant.
