i think most of the hate for this game is completely unfounded. It's easily one of the best survival games, period. Tweak your graphics options, you CAN run this game well.

Yeah, OK, whatever makes you sleep at night.

After all this time of my raising the alarm, all of a sudden "everyone saw it coming". yeah, OK.

So what is it you're saying here. Trust in Derek Smart? That only you, could potentially see things as they are? Do you have a product to sell? Maybe some silver or a get rich quick scheme? Reason I say this is the whole "trust me, I knew it before anyone else" line, which always, always gets my bullshit meter going off. Stick to making games Derek.

Interested in other people's opinions of Fairfight, it seems like the best anti-cheat measure available today.

Before anyone kills me for saying this, I am an avid PC gamer.
If you want a fair and balanced play experience online you have to go to the console. (I love PC as much as the next guy, been on blues for i dont know 15 years?) but if I want to play Overwatch or BF4, I find the experience to be more balanced/fair on console. (yeah i miss the kb/mouse)

my biggest problem with Diablo3 has always been the writing. Sounds like I know who to blame.

Diablo almost belongs in WWE the way he speaks to the player.

Have you guys actually played this game at all to any length? Taken yourself to alpha tribe status or perhaps engaged in a huge War in Ark?

Reading the comments here, clearly none of you have or this game would be seeing some major praise among the EA griping.

Also, I also played this on a PS4 with 5.1 surround sound on a big screen TV...it was a fantastic experience with beautiful and smooth graphics, amazing sound, and the gameplay works great with a gamepad

I can do the same speakers on a PC, using the same TV as a monitor, with even better graphics, more gameplay options, and aim significantly better with a mouse than the most elite console players. If you're trying to argue the merits of a console vs PC, you will lose everytime.

Arguing about PC vs Console on a PC Centric website, way to play it extremely safe. You're also incorrect, the game plays wonderfully on the console. PC vs Console on Overwatch is entirely subjective. I have played it on PC and Xbox One and I happen to prefer the One's closed environment and level playing field.

The same goes for any other game with PvP. Ark for example heavily depends on your rig capabilities/performance to be able to properly pvp in heavy encounters. On console everyone has the same setup and are not able to out Ghz the other guy.

I could keep going, just wanted to prove you very wrong. ;p

I'm still burned from Stormrise. The last Sega-CA RTS I played where after a buggy release Sega decided to abandon the game rather than pay to release a patch that was already done.

Never again. As much as I love Warhammer, another title I'll probably look at when it hits the bargain bin.

Why do people shit on games that aren't even out yet and/or have very little information available? What kind of people do this? Do you shit on your cereal in the morning?

Wow, all of the negative ninnies here... I for one think this would be fantastic!

You must be new around here. There is never a post on blues without the negative ninnies coming out of the woodwork. The news here is great, the comments aren't so much.

However I completely agree with you, this game would be fantastic and NEEDS to be made. I wish them well and hope it turns out well.

I'll disagree with you there. You get 5-10 legs per hour, at least, so unless you're really re-rolling stats like crazy trying to perfect a lot of jewelry, you're gonna have tons of souls piling up on an end-game character. I pick up whites and blues now, since they're the limiter for crafting or rolling stats, respectively. Yellow mats are thrown at you like crazy in drops and rewards now, so I don't even bother with those items.

What an odd way to play Diablo. I beat the game once or twice then hung it up, might play again later.. but getting the best/best of gear? Have you gone... MAD?

TWR2 doesn't suck. In fact it's a rather fantastic game, instead of listening to what "the internet" says try the game out yourself.

Stop your fucking bitching, this is the fucking internet. Politically Correct exists on an admin-by-admin basis, and you've no right or reason to expect succor from ANYONE.

This is exactly the response I was expecting... "How fucking dare you expect people to behave respectfully on the internet! Why don't you go fuck yourself!"

In my opinion the community would be a much better place without the threats of violence, harm, hateful, and harassing speech. I'm not sure what reason there is to get so irate about people taking a stand against it.

I believe it's because this person feels personally responsible for some of that anger and hate speech. I mean look at how he took this? Obviously it was directed toward people like him and he took offense.

I'll stick with Insurgency. Too bad they finally wised up and stopped letting you play the single player for free over the weekend.

Are there many players playing insurgency?

I dont think comparing Ghosts to Battlefield is fair (which is what you see around the net, most often). However if you compare Ghosts to CS:Go, this is a good comparison. Looking forward to playing the free multiplayer this weekend.

was not getting 60 FPS with my 280x, so i'm pretty sure nvidia is ust utilizing their shadowplay feature to just encode straight away instead of record to memory.

880's can't get here soon enough... but the question is.. get a 28nm version? or wait for the die shrink?

I recently picked up a 780 GTX... the 780 has the hardware keplar decoder.

I rarely use AA even if my rig easily handles the game.

My general setup in almost every game:

1920x1080
AF 16x
V-Sync: Off (unless there's bad tearing)
Shadows: High (or one setting lower than maximum. Generally looks the same but gives a huge performance boost).

FXAA: Off
Bloom: On (game dependent, some games go a little nuts with bloom)

I find nearly every game I play looks and runs better with these settings.

My rig:
i5 3570k
8GB DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6970

You know you guys don't have to buy every game that comes out right? If you're not into the battlefield franchise, and aren't looking for an upgraded Battlefield game with new maps and an updated engine.. nothing is stopping you from NOT playing it and not putting your money into it.

What kind of people will pay for something AND complain as they do it? What have you become?

Just stay away from it if you're not interested.

Same as the original, I love this developer; they made RUSE and Act of War which in my RTS book are some of the best RTS games out there, but this one. bad camera angles and you feel like you’re playing with a bunch of micro miniature units. Don’t care for that feel at all. Plus there’s no base building. Supplies run to way to fast. You can’t build new FOBs to try and speed up the Conquering process; you have to run back and forth to the original ones you placed. The list goes on and on.

It's not a base building game, it's in the same genre as Myth: The Fallen Lords, except modern war.

The camera angles, I agree are a bit too restrictive, and the unit scale is pretty small.

As for the supply and FOB issue, I think it's fine as is, don't waste all your ammo, somewhat realistic.

It's an improvement over EE as it adds the fixed wing aircraft. I didn't play EE much, however.

As I said I enjoy it, but hey it doesn't seem to matter what game we're talking about on blues, someone has the blues about it. Every. Single. Game.
