bad reviews hurt sales

great insight cutter. thank you. bethesda games don't get bad reviews, because bethesda games have always been good. so you have no point unless bethesda is planning ahead to when they suck. but good try

She has been the target of a conservative campaign to discredit her for the better part of two decades. Even if it's not true when people hear that consistently for such a long time, they're more likely to believe negative things said about her, and/or view things she has done as worse when compared to others who have done something similar. If for the last 20 years you heard how awful cornflakes were, youíd be more likely to believe bad things said about cornflakes than things said about toasties (Postís version of cornflakes). Itís unfortunate in that if she is doing something wrong it is shrouded by political bias on both sides. Why should she be jailed when the previous administration lost 22 million emails also held on a private server in the midst of questions about improprieties involving evidence that lead to the Iraq war? How could she just get away with deleting emails during an investigation?

Anyways to get more back on the topic, people hate her because they've been told to hate or distrust her. Whether the ire she has directed at her is valid, and applied fairly (i.e. consistent with how it is applied to others) is difficult to determine because people have been so conditioned to have an opinion on her.

this guy is right. free will is an illusion. every ignoramus in history thought he was right and the creator of his own fate. just like the rest of us, what he thinks came from his parents, friends, and anyone else in his environment. today it's hicks watching hick propaganda on TV. it never occurs to them that they're being lied to. never.

I donated money to this game expecting it to fail like any other entrepreneurial venture. It's doing really well now. People with unrealistic expectations are doomed to be trapped in a cage of their own anger. It's not the game, it's you!

this is what happens when you don't have strong leadership. policies change with the wind. fashion dictates design. isn't it amazing how wacky names are all the rage for a few years, and then super simple names are all the rage the next. rinse and repeat. only with strong leadership can the marketing department be held in line

so clearly the leadership at blizzard has changed. it always had the strongest leadership in the games business, until now I guess

you can complain about the price and amount of content compared to other games. but you can't say this isn't what people have dreamed about. it IS kind of amazingly beautiful and accurate and cinematic and people would pay $10,000 per match for this in the 80s

I would get this but they require you to link your humble account to your steam account, which I assume profits them in some way greater than I will profit from getting a game I won't play

so they can suck it!

I don't like the graphics. too busy for a multiplayer game. they look great though

I might prefer 1942 gameplay if I'm honest. it's certainly more polished. bf1 needs a few years of patching to catch up with perfection

my guess is that they release 3 levels by the end of the year, if its accurate we are seeing pieces of it (arc corp, grim hex, levski, idris, crashed idris)

I think people are going to be surprised by the citizencon demo. most of what you just said isn't in squadron 42...

They should focus their resources in making better drivers.

if they did that wouldn't it mean the janitors would be programming, which would make the drivers worse?

This guy had the Molyneux, Chris Roberts, long con down pat. I recognized this early on, and tried to warn people, but there is a sucker born every minute. This guys spin is to actually deliver a turd, but continue to promise they are going to polish it into a diamond.

this would make perfect sense if both those guys hadn't made a bunch of popular games, and if no man's sky wasn't so popular. NMS is missing stuff, but that doesn't mean people aren't playing it, or are not having fun

hes had 5 years to make this game so far.

Everything I've seen here No Mans Sky is already doing.

both of these points are strictly incorrect. the kickstarter ended late 2012, and everything in that demo was probably created since 2014. it took years just to create the studios to make the game

and of course NMS is nothing like this game, because NMS has a hundred features that star citizen does not, and vice versa

I know what you guys are saying. I thought the same about diablo in the 90s. I could not explain why just clicking was so fun, and I resented the game for it. Fact is, I was totally wrong. It's enough to explore and collect stuff. People are simple creatures and will enjoy countless hours just looking for new boxes to open.

Remember Progress Quest? It's a totally valid argument, and it's totally wrong. Doing nothing over and over is fun, just because you're personally doing it. Just doing it is enough
