Just snagged the new Doomsday, along with all of the Chocolate variants. Question, and I'm not sure if it can be answered, because I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere: Loading Heretic into Chocolate shows 5 episodes when you start a new game. Doomsday only shows 3. Anyone know why?

Gamersgate has a ton on sale right now. Grabbed Jericho for a buck something earlier today. Decent enough game, especially for that price.

BTW, anyone interested in Dead Island Epidemic? I have 6 copies to give away. I also have a copy of Interstellar Marines, Aerena, and Contagion. All up for grabs if anyone wants em. They're just collecting dust in my Steam inventory. Oh yeah, Steam name is the same as here.

Also, should check out the demo for Rogue Shooter. It's actually pretty fun.

There are bots, but in my experience, they are either idiotic, or expert sharpshooters.

Really good game though. I pretty much suck ass at it, but it's still fun.

Thanks Creston. I think I'll give this a try. I've had this game since release, and I've never gotten around to finishing it. Maybe this time I will. Hopefully, cause it seems pretty cool.

Lol, you actually do have 2000 hours in it.

So, on a reset, what determines the bonus multiplier %? Is it your CPS, or the amount of cookies you have in the bank at that point?

How much you have in the bank when you do it. Not sure how much time I have in this, but I gave up a month ago or so. Just got tired of it. I was only missing...one achievement or something like that. So there wasn't really anything to look forward to, and the CPS was so astronomical, I couldn't even really comprehend it anymore.
Was a blast up to that point, however.
BTW, when you're ready to do a reset, let it go at least overnight, then pop all of your, ugh, what are they called? Creepers...no. Whatever they're called. That'll help with getting more legacy cookies, cause you'll have a bunch built up.

...believed we could achieve it by bringing together our team with its creative energies and current gaming platforms with their technical capabilities.

I'm all for delays as long as it turns out really good. What this says to me though, is that it doesn't run well enough on 360/PS3, so they're taking the time to port it to Xbone and PS4.

Regardless of the reasons, I'm like others here and haven't finished Witcher 2 yet, so no worries from me.

I personally will find this extremely useful. I have four children who all have different games on their four different accounts on our main computer. Now if I feel like it I can play their games, which I couldn't before. How people see this is not being useful is beyond me.

--Laffman

You could have before, just by logging into their accounts on your computer.
Which is what my son is doing now. We got him a worms game on my wife's account, because his computer couldn't run it. Now, she got a new computer, so he got hers. When he wants to play that game, he just logs into her account.
The only benefit I see is having separate saves/achievements. Kinda hit or miss whether games have profiles/save slots built it. So for those that don't, the sharing is kinda cool. Otherwise, I don't see the point.

This is a very fun game with friends, even right now. I've played a lot of finished games that are not as good.

How is it on your own? Been looking at this for a while, and now might be the time to jump in.

Works already done. It's easy money. And if someone who skipped 4 enjoys it enough to buy the full game?

They have nothing to lose...

Good point nin. Hadn't looked at that side of it.

Weird. Wonder how much this will be.
Taken from the Uplay page for the gold edition of ACIV: "This single-player adventure adds more than 3 hours of playing time to the total experience of Black Flag."

Seems odd to me that they release that as a standalone. Unless there's more to it than that.

Why do developers waste time with browser games? They are never ever very good. It is nothing like Wing Commander if they are doing it in a browser!

Well in the case of this game, it's because it's built with Unity, which makes it extremely easy to put it into a browser. Nice, simple way to let people check out the alpha. Doesn't seem like the final game will be in a browser.

Aside from that, this is looking pretty good. Hope it does well.

I'd say so. That's what I got it for. Some people have tons of problems with it, others don't. I personally haven't had any performance issues with it, just troubles connecting. But the game itself is pretty fun. In my opinion, it's better than BF3.

One killer app and the Oculus Rift will be doing just fine.

And that is true as well. 3DFX had Quake/Descent 2 and it was over.

And Descent 3. I remember trying that in all 3 versions (d3d, opengl, and glide), and it was far and away best in glide. Everything just looked right.

Nether looks good, not much in info/reviews available though.

Supposedly it is from WarZ people. Their Steam Discussion is locked, which is a huge red flag.

Thought it looked empty.

Thanks for the heads up. Cannot support them.

I don't think it's from those guys. These are the guys with the failed superhero style kickstarter, Project Awakened.

For the most part, I don't mind the Uplay app. Annoying though if you buy a game that's been out for a while and has a few patches. Launch the game, update, close the game. Launch, update, close, etc. until you're finally updated to the most recent version. Was hell when I got Assassin's Creed 3 complete. All the updating and DLC installing was insane.
That was made worse by the fact that I pretty much stopped playing after you start playing the main character.
Black Flag, on the other hand, is friggin awesome so far.

Edit: BTW, The Division is looking pretty cool.
