Saw a YouTuber playing this a while ago, and found the demo. Game is kinda cool, but rather difficult. Your timing has to be really good.
Yeah, I'm really surprised the controller could keep up with the inputs.

I saw something similar a few years ago. I asked the guy about it, and he said over the years he loved it, but a recent update killed a bunch of stuff and basically ruined the game for him. Could be something similar with the one you saw.

I agree. I downloaded the demo for it, and while I thought it was a cool game, I can't aim for shit with a thumbstick.

Sometimes someone acts like I'm crazy when I say Z-axis enemies make everything suck. At least, if you don't have hitscan weaponry (even then, they get old fast.)
I fucking hate flying enemies. They suck in every single game, unless you're flying yourself. (Or unless you have a shotgun that automatically chases after and shoots down flying enemies, a la borderlands 2.)

Haven't yet, because of the actress. I really don't care for her, and also wasn't keen on a Groundhog Day remake. However, after reading everyone's comments, I may have to check it out.

Yeah, after playing a few matches, I actually had a good time (damnit). Funnily enough, the best match my son and I had was one where even though it's groups of 3's, it was just the two of us. Have to admit it was better than I was expecting.
