With the way developers have been doing things lately, 5 hours might even be enough time to complete the game.

Yup, every time I see her in some crap movie (The last of which was The Fourth Kind) I just think to myself "Leeloo Dallas multipass" and all is forgiven.

Before Dark Messiah of Might and Magic showed up, this was my favorite First Person Sworder. As the spiritual successor to Ultima Underworld it was supposed to be, it was a bit lacking but otherwise a great game on its own regard.

First details of the game reveal a town so vast that it needs a Subway system to explore, with areas that include the never-before-seen Southeastern side of Silent Hill

Neat, Konami finally listened to everyone that has wanted a complete version of Silent Hill in one of the games.

The only mandatory fights are boss battles, which take the form of quick-time-events.

Aaaaand, it's ruined.

Don't worry, he doesn't pay for games anyway, he just steals them.

Heh, ok. Though I definitely bought the PC version at launch and still think having to unlock multiplayer maps in a first person shooter is pretty silly.

Am I the only one who thinks it's utterly ridiculous that players have to unlock maps they've already paid for?

I was about to ask the same thing, this is Battlefield, not a racing game.

Aiming assist on iron sights, same as every other first person shooter on a console.

Translation: You'll be buying Windows 8 if you want the latest version of Direct X.

Translation to another language: We will be releasing a PC port of Halo 3 and forcing it to run only on Windows 8.

Infinity Blade looks vastly better than what most people's laptops can do.

Glad I'm not the only one that was floored by how great this game looks on a 4th generation iThing, it really is something else. It's always great when a developer sets a new bar for everyone else to reach.

Now if only ChAIR could cram something with deeper gameplay like Shadow Complex with the same intuitive controls that Infinity Blade has *without* having to rely on virtual sticks, they will have my undivided attention on this platform.

TF2 should steal Modern Warfail's idea and implement barebones servers, where only the original weapons and items are allowed.

I'm normally not into adventure games, but this game really got me hooked. I am enjoying it a lot and waiting for the American release. I never played Gabriel Knight series and now I am thinking of trying them out.

You're in for a treat with Gabriel Knight but just remember that adventures games used to be somewhat unforgiving back in the golden days, Gray Matter is a cakewalk with all the help it provides to the player.

At one point the player mentions that is the part with the British guy's shit, he's talking about this:

Which is also hilarious, even if both these videos are most likely acted.

SL is basically Mindcraft without the 8-bit like graphics.

Minecraft is basically Second Life without the furries, incest and bestiality.

It's like you're not even driving a car, but some brick inside a pinball machine. I dunno how else to describe it

I know exactly what you're referring to, though to me it's more like trying to sail a boat on open land.

Another bit of silliness: Hot Pursuit doesn't even have an option to select auto or manual transmission even though there's an RPM meter and gear number displayed on the HUD.

The lagginess and frame rate problems are gone for the most part but now the game is kicking everyone out after 3 minutes of play with a Steam disconnect error, this game just can't catch a break.
