About time the Aussies finally get some recognition and love in games. Sold.

Pity they got the SLR L1A1 model wrong (not sure how.. not like it takes much looking with google).

Another one down in the great American free press experiment.

post vietnam strategy - destroy the press, or have it repeat your narrative to prevent interruption of war profiteering.

funny that it's Kapersky that is opening up their source code to anyone who would look, meanwhile Western AVs are doing the opposite.

Notice how it's worded too

Foreign governments...

I wonder if any of them have actually seen the source code..

I think the CIA and NSA has done far more to undermine our security than Kapersky.

I work in IT security. I KNOW how many times I've had to deal with their shit, compared to Kapersky related stuff.

More like facebook disables working around of their content filtering.

During the election however their editorial team was trending fake news that attacked Trump from a shady PR firm linked to Hillary.

It's amazing what you can find out through DNS registration records and the internet archive.

Please post stats of violent crime in those same countries vs ours. Thanks.

Wow you're right. The UK has like 1/4th the homicide rate of the US, and Japan less than 1/10th. Far less rape in the EU as a whole, and waaay less in Japan. Though anecdotally you hear about a lot of perv gropers in subways in Japan so I question that statistic. Oh and the percentage of their population that is incarcerated is much lower as well by a huge amount.

So not only do they kill far fewer suspects, they are far better at reducing crime, and don't throw half the population in prison to do it!

They also don't have a culture that peddles fear and hate constantly, to make citizens more susceptible to believing whatever new form of BS they create to justify more conflicts and larger security forces for profit (at their expense).

Russia struck at election systems and data of 39 US states.

And by "Russia" he means "patriotic hackers who happen to live in Russia and are not associated with the government. At all"

Hmm.. it strikes me that you're not familiar with any of the Snowden releases, the other information gleaned from hacking of various entities or cybersecurity in general.

..and definitely not of the history of US intelligence services.

But I'll give you that you're pretty much on the pulse of general public attitude.

I think every IT professional who has to deal with those companies who have been importing workers will think this is a good move.

Here in B.C. Canada it's been this way for as long as I can remember - only hire offshore talent if you are able to demonstrate you cannot find the talent here.

Fake news - how about that BBC report of WTC7 falling down before it did?

Wonder if the enquiry will look into that example.

Yeah, it means they did us a big favor by revealing betrayal by our own government. Unless you're a Fascist, loyalty to the nation as a whole is more important than loyalty to the government, should the two ever be in opposition. Which they frequently are.

The real traitors are people like you. Disgusting people who will excuse any government misconduct like it's their duty and believe they are servants of their government and not the other way around.

WELL SAID!

THANK YOU OBAMA!!! Edward Snowden should have been on that list.

President Obama will be known as one of the greatest Presidents in the history of the United States and drumpf will be nothing but an ugly forgotten footnote.

Snowden fled to Russia.

Sigh...

Isn't it amazing how misinformed a lot of people are.

Instead of 'The US revoked his passport while he was in transit to Ecuador, leaving him stuck in Russia' becomes 'He fled to Russia'.

But to be fair, with the mainstream media's purpose apparently being misinforming people - it shouldn't be surprising. Right?

Ok Captain Treason. If you believe so strongly in the laws of the country then you should also believe strongly in the presidents powers to revoke or commute sentences of criminals who have admitted their wrongdoing and paid for their crimes as well. You can't have one without the other, either you believe or you don't.

And also remember, it's only Treason if the American People are the enemy.

It's such a wonderful slight of hand.. the story is that Giuliani has a post in the incoming administration, which should set off all sorts of red flags. Nope.. let's talk about his website?!

A story saying that he's utterly unqualified is a sleight of hand?

Ok.

Yeah, I saw nothing in that article pointing to his qualifications or lack there of. If anything the website in question is just generic template from your typical low-end website reseller and has nothing to do with him aside from offering basic contact info. Uneasy

So, an article that Trump's pick for cyber security chief can't even secure his own website isn't about his qualifications?

When's the last time you saw anyone in IT management capable of securing their shoelaces, let alone a PC?

I've owned this game, at one point or another, a total of four times over the last two decades. I bought it at release in June (July?) 2001. I remember sitting in the doctors office in Manhattan reading the manual, waiting for my (now ex-) wife to come out, thinking, 'wow, this is gonna be totally awesome!'. And it was...a complete disaster.

Yeah. It sucked. It went back on the shelf and i've never tried it since.

I read the hacking report.

It's basically 'Hacking for dummies' - general discussion for non-technical people. It shows nothing. Absolutely nothing that means anything. Let alone proof.

This is more a case of distraction.
