TAP TAP TAP.

You hear that RIM?

That's more nails in the coffin.

While you continue to force consumers to rely upon a centralised, easily spied upon and easily shut down by government 'authorities'centric infrastructure you're going to keep losing consumers.

@UBI - DRM = no sale.

I want to be able to use my software on any system I have, anywhere I am, whether I have an internet connection or not.

If the only way to do so is to use a pirated version...

DUMBASSES.

NO DEDICATED SERVER FOR PC.

I hope relic understand that without a dedicated server you can't foster a gaming community for PC.

Who would know better about the evils of spying on your own citizens than Germany, considering both the Nazis and the Communists did it.

Allowing governments to spy on the people is unacceptable. The people should be spying on the government.

Who in their right mind would pay $129.99 for a 320GB hard drive???

The same people who would play games at 720p, no AA, no AF and 30 FPS, all because being able to sit on their couch while gaming is their top priority.

..or got sick of all the BS PC gamers have to deal with and just want it to work.

Human Error?

Ie - the Human was in error for using Game footage that they'd get caught using?

Kind of like the footage of the Palestinian soccer team return home to cheering and dancing that was used to portray the Palestinians of supporting the attacks of 9/11?

Anyone want to bet the producer of the show is a zionist?

Aren't bohemia interactive the guys who release incomplete engines and call them games, relying on the community to turn their engines into something playable?

Facebook will surely 'check' links for viruses. Or more importantly, log every link you go to, just in case you end up doing something like checking an 'occupy wall street' link.

Facebook is simply a private version of a people database, used by governments to spy on their people, that they wouldn't be able to put together themselves without political backlash.

It's because MOST of the time PC games are unfinished buggy pieces of crap on release.

I don't buy games on release any more - I wait for about a year to find out if the critical bugs are fixed. By that time it's also hit the bargain bin.

It's not like I'm starving for good games in the meantime.

Incorrect my arse.

Why not admit what it really is - releasing a bad product to impact the zero day warez scene.

Ironic statement from someone who is profiting from "War is fun"

If he truly cared he'd move away from anything glorifying war, or perhaps start portraying it as it is - something awful.

The vast majority of casualties in Modern war today are civilians, either through 'not giving a shit' about the civilians around a target(collateral damage) or downright massacre (see yesterday's wikileaks release on the family of 10 handcuffed, executed and then the attempt to blow up the evidence via airstrike).

Today war is about pursuit of racial(Israel) or Corporate (USA) interests.

It's a pity really.

I just hope the developer of 1979 isn't being paid by the CIA.

Maybe someone should make "1967" where you take the part of either an Israeli sailor machine gunning life boats launched from the U.S.S. Liberty in the hope of preventing survivors, or an attack pilot strafing and napalming the ship to keep the crew from rewiring radio masts so they can send a report that they're being attacked, or a torpedo boat captain trying to sink it. If succesful the US comes into the war you started on your side.

Or you can play the part of Robert Macnamara and decide whether to recall the US navy strike flights that were going to protect the ship, or you could allow the nuclear strike against Cairo.

The game would show that in history - the bad guys screw their friends

Then we could play the ace elevatore modernisation program!

History offers so many opportunities for educational gaming.

Bush planned 9/11.

No he didn't. The zionists of PNAC did the plan, Cheney did the legwork, Israel supplied the manpower. Bush knew - he was 'shitting bricks' during his press conference - you only need to watch his expression during his upside-down my pet goat episode to realise something was up...

They used Mossad personnel through Mossad fixer Jack Abramoff. The front company Ace Elevator (the owner fled to Israel just prior to 9/11) planted the explosives during an elevator upgrade of the WTC buildings that a Freedom of Information Act request has just shown was never real (ie none of the legal paperwork that is required to get permission to do the upgrades was ever done).

The US military KNOWS Israel did it - and they're pissed. I'm waiting for them to hit back at Israel like they did after Israel attacked the USS Liberty and tried to drag the US into a war against Egypt.

Yep - the truth is out there - just not being served up on a platter by CNN and Fox.

The whole purpose of facebook is to put faces to ip addresses, and ip addresses to identities, to make it possible to trace an individual to the content they post online.

Unfortunately the 'horse has bolted' and the ability to suppress the truth by taking out those who make it available online has already been invalidated - too many people know thanks to the likes of Wikileaks and Bradley Manning.

Instead it will now be used as a 'chilling effect' to scare people into not spreading the truth because it might end up with them being hassled when travelling or any other activity where 'government' agencies are involved.

20. Re: IL-2 Cliffs of Dover Add-on in September? Jul 18, 2011, 09:21 Bard

hmm.. Cliffs of Dover doesn't even WORK PROPERLY yet.

It's a bit.. risky.. to release an add-on for a broken product. By the time the product works and those informed consumers purchase it the add-on will most likely have lost the sales impact it would have had.
