I guess someone didn't read yesterday's wikileaks email from google.

There is NO privacy if you are online.

zero rated = bad.

What it means is that we get raped for other data, so are forced into using 'authorised' channels of communication.

all traffic should be free, and we should be getting charged for the RATE at which we can retrieve data (since it's actually related to network capacity) instead of How much we get.

Banking all over again.

If it's on origin it's not free - if it was a direct download without any extra hooks into your computer system, or any other data collection maybe..

Right - we can trust facebook.

I doubt, very much, that the data is not accessible by facebook in some way.

Game looks great, but I have to wonder if in 2016 they couldn't have come up with a different weapon system from Doom/Duke Nukem/Quake's "Shotgun", "Plasma Gun", "Chainsaw weapon", "Gatling Gun that runs out of ammo way too fast", etc.

Because it's based on the weapons in Warhammer 40K - which predates Doom.

Today on Blue's: People bitch about a game being too niche and ask for it to be dumbed down and mainstreamed to appeal to them.

Way to flip the script.

LOL eve is a bad game period, it caters to retards. They don't call it the spreadsheet game for nothing. Freespace 2 is infinitely more fun then eve will ever be, eve is the ultimate badly designed casual game because everything is automated. MMO's are casual games, games like freespace are hardcore.

Claiming you are hardcore at 99% of mmo's is like claiming you are a hardcore bejewelled player.

It is an AWESOME game for your desk bound genius. Extra monitor, Eve on it - do your afk stuff while working - someone enters your part of null put the work phone on busy and have some very tactical and challenging gameplay.

But if you had to play it without doing something else at the same time... pretty dull.

FBI suspects foreign hackers?

IE - anyone using a VPN service provided in a country other than the U.S.

So essentially, FBI Suspects someone hacked...

I think it'll only be four years, but yeah, your point is very valid.

Which protections would those be, exactly, Hillary?

I never ran into a FPS game that was the pure perfect of Quake1 Rocket Arena for LAN and Team v Team play.

Everything else seemed to be less time spent in furious firefight, more time waiting to encounter someone.

on the fluff side, maybe - on the game side - WHFB was an obese ruleset where the game became one of rules lawyership and bullshit shennanigans. Kings of War is a far better wargame.

They went too far with age of Sigmar, but it opened up the scene to KoW - and that's turned out to be a good thing.

Tests have confirmed it is close to useless, and of not much more purpose than ripping off citizens of their tax dollars. Which was the purpose of the whole contrived situation that led to this.

"There is a list of known issues"

That there is exactly WHY i don't do AMD anymore.

Always some issue... and sometimes affecting even the top tier games (Skyrim for example).

Of course, some people have no problems....

after looking at all the various 'features' of Windows 10, it's clear that the OS is moving to mass surveillance friendly. From IPv6's whole structure through to all the extra data being gathered.

which is all a fucking stupid direction.

it's hard enough to keep privacy and security without being undermined by old men making stupid decisions based on primetime tv IT magic.

Owned by Facebook, low security, a true data magnet - I expect the Blue's News data security experts to have a field day with this even more than with Windows 10.

Then again - for most of those experts it seems to be alright to be spied on by their mobile phones.

Nope - this is not so much spying on everything you do on a computer. But it is more of the same facebook 'spam'.
