I've used RMB for forward since the days of DOOM. I wasted $50 on BF2142 only to find out that it doesn't allow this configuration, even after umpteen patches and me complaining to the devs. What a coincidence, it's an EA game too. Apparently mapping forward to RMB is too complex an engineering task for the EA dev teams to be completed by the initial ship date.

Maybe I should claim to be disabled and then they might actually patch it in?

I wonder if they'll fix the fact that keybindings don't save properly. It's what kept me from playing what was one of my favorite BF games of all time, that is until I got tired of fighting with the keybindings. I just want to use the same fps config I've used since I first played the original Doom. Something so basic, yet seemingly impossible to achieve in a BF game, BF1942 had the issue originally but it was patched, BF2 had the issue originally and was also patched. Not sure what it is about the 2142 team that can't seem to pull off this engineering 101 task. *crosses fingers*

To those complaining about no single player, does DoTA have single player? Did you complain about that? The game doesn't really lend itself to a single player campaign. It has skirmish against AI which is more than DoTA could say for a long time. I can't speak to Heroes of Newerth or League of Legends.

The demo does have a skirmish mode that you can play by creating a custom online game with AI only.

The game is a lot of fun and the community is a lot more forgiving than the DoTA community as far as people learning the game, etc. Not to say it's not without it's share of trolls/flamers and ragequitters. Even so it's a lot of fun.

You can in fact play SOCOM over the internet, not just peer-to -peer adhoc or WLAN infrastructure. It has rankings and several game types. IMO this is the best multiplayer game out for PSP so far.

FYI, there are at least 2 other games that offer internet multiplayer for the PSP, Wipeout Pure and Offroad ATV Fury have it.

I heard Howard Stern likes farm sluts….nuff’ said

In my opinion his show sucks and is stupid, except the interviews are usually good, everything else sucks.

So don't listen to it and don't censor what I might want to listen to. 'nuff said.

DDI,

If you think that this had nothing to do with the FCC you are sadly mistaken. Sure they didn't directly initiate this move but by nature of their actions, they are surely the ones who spurred it.

Howard has been doing the same type of comedy, saying the same types of things for years. I don't recall seeing anywhere that the head of Clearchannel was appointed in the last week, so why the sudden change of heart?

It's because of the increased pressure by the FCC to monitor what they think we all need/want to listen to. If you actually read the story you'd see that ClearChannel have recently had $755,000 in fines imposed by the FCC, which I think as a head of a radio network is difficult to ignore or not act upon. This has everything to do with the FCC.

Great, now the minimal support in XP for my original Force Feedback Pro is going to completely disappear. Shame to have to toss a perfectly working joystick into the 'obsolete' box.

"Oh yeah, and for those of you in the East where the ball (or equivalent) has dropped already, Happy New Year (and remember, please don't tell the rest of us what happens in the future, or our actions may change what is meant to be)."
Am I in a time warp here? According to my clock/calendar, it's till December 31st here...??
I'm pretty bad at this time zone stuff for some reason, but if my calculations are correct, it's already the New Year in all of Australia by now, and (by the Gregorian calendar, at least) as far west as Southeast Asia by now...

D'oh. My limited mind was thinking East Coast...*crawls back into his hole*
