Quite a few people didn't desire to play a jedi in galaxies. I for one loved my commando and never played a jedi... Some people saw more than guys with glowy bats when we watched SW.

"And they could make being a Sith unlikely by limiting them to 2. A Master and an Apprentice."

Sorry, Old Republic era has the old sith wars. Their were TONS of sith. It was because of one of these wars that the sith went into hiding and preserved their teachings by going to the master and apprentice discipline.

So by going Old Republic, they actually cover their bases quite well.

EGM/FileFront/Gamevideos/MyCheats/Gametab...

Can't say I visit any of those sites on a regular basis. I see links to things on filefront fairly often and avoid them as much as possible.

I use the IGN/Fileplanet/Gametrailers sites more often.

You use fileplanet over filefront? One rarely has a wait and you don't pay for. The other charges you for normal speeds or forces you to wait 20 min.

Dagok, they are referring to the fantastic DOS installer that C&C and Red Alert had in the beginning. They were quite a loss for the series as the installers helped bring you into the world. It's a shame no one does game installations quite like that anymore.

joy... another gaming convention on the West coast of North America. Apparently only Penny Arcade realizes the population density of the East coast.

Am I the only one who understands the visuals of BFH? The style is actually brilliant if you consider what it is. It's not about team fortress. The style is taken from many of the old world war II motivational posters and comics that were produced to support the war. It's a great style with a sense of history.

As for the controlled access... What a crock of BS. I got better things to do than beg for a key.

ah yes. Tim Burton. The man who didn't even pick up a comic book. His movies were good for their time, but the new ones were leagues better.

Oh good god... When can we use PC gaming as a platform that is compared equally with other platforms? You don't see XBOX vs CONSOLES. It's not PC vs Consoles. That is the absolute dumbest trend ever. Apparently all consoles income needs to be combined.. So remember that when you count mario galaxy sales on consoles... oh wait... The PC needs to be stood up as an equal vs individual system sales to get a real picture. That picture shows the writing on the wall, the wall reads PC GAMING is THRIVING

Stop comparing PC games sales with all the consoles at once. Treat each console as an independent and PC gaming actually competes well. Bloody dev's refuse to see consoles independently, yet find no problem having to develop for the differences

yeah, that will be good for PC gaming....

If you are not smart enough to see that all the gold features we have had with third party apps up till now for free then you need to be a console gamer. I don't use gold, and I'm still using my favorite apps... so what's the bloody problem.

If you truly don't care about what the broader community thinks about your games, then why come here and start insulting people who just point out their dislike of your game? Oh, that's right, you are an attention whore. Nevermind....

No, you do not have to pay to play GOW multiplayer. Like it has been clarified several times before, silver memberships on the PC are free and allow multiplayer. Gold memberships are paid and offer extras that can be ignored by downloading better options such as ventrilo.

So you are saying we should give more money for shorter games with more bugs Icewind? Seriously, Demos used to be more than 5-10 min in length and a quality game wasn't over in less than a day. And for this bug ridden shorter content prices are increasing.
Besides, PC gamers don't bitch NEARLY as bad as console gamers... the 12 year olds dominating console forums are quite scary.

This is rich. As a former member of the U.S. Military who lived off base in another country, I know this will piss off quite a few servicemen... Hell, on base, base IP's for barracks use are often registered with the country the base is in. Not to mention, I used to buy my software on the Japanese market. The commissary used to take forever to get new titles. Valve really screwed the goose on this one.
