Which 'fake news' Cliffer? He rails against "fake news" and doesn't elaborate. Are they all fake Cliffski? As far as I'm concerned The Intercept already slammed Washington Post's 'fake news' bullshit. Fuck Off With McCarthyism Bullshit.

WP and PropOrNot decided to lump in all of some the best independent research and analysis websites there are including: consortiumnews.com, counterpunch.org, davidswanson.org, globalresearch.ca, blackagendareport.com, truthdig.com, washingtonsblog.com, journal-neo.org,

The problem I have with this is people see bullshit that's posted on WP and hardly care to analyze every single website the mysterious "prop or not" assholes decided to also lump in every anti-establishment, peace advocacy, and every anti-war website there is imaginable, even those that are considered "leftist." Yeah sorry, they don't work for Russia.

I love this post-election bullshit that Cliffski is lumping in with his crocodile tears on journalism. Blame everyone. Remember when Washington Post and other "Major News" outlets, in their utter disgrace, posted fake news tricking Americans into thinking Saddam had to go (WMDs) and was in an alliance with (al-Qaeda - False)? This guy remembers. And now, as Greenwald excellently pointed out, "Tens of thousands of people, perhaps hundreds of thousands or even millions, consumed it, believing that it was true because of how many journalists and experts told them it was. Virtually none of the people who told them this spent a minute of time or ounce of energy determining if it was true."

Ah, Britain. People forget their tendency to 1984 the fuck out of their people. They've had cameras pretty much everywhere public or semi-public for decades. I'm sure the pro-Bexit voters were too ignorant or "well I'm not the one they are looking for"-ish to care.

With the election of Trump, and the people he's nominating for security positions, we'll soon be in the same boat.

We already were in a similar position with the last administration. But I'm sure now that people don't have their chosen elect in office, all will be ignored so blame can be focused on a new elect. And the 'fans' of the new elect will totally ignore crimes, just like 'fans' of the last elect ignored the last admin's crimes, because as long as people have 'their guy' in office nothing changes on these fundamentals. All Presidents have been beholden to it and have not challenged the National Security Act since 1947.

I haven't played it enough to decide if 'p2w' as you say. However, I can say the aesthetic and artwork are phenomenal as always. Its got all the sounds of the characters too, which is cool. Plus they added slight twists on the game compared to how it is in-game. For example, I like that poor fucking infantry now work like Scoia'tael and Monster cards do by spawning exact copies of it. You can also add strength or remove strength with Ballistis, making the cards more interactive. I could probably see myself playing this waaay more than Hearthstone.

From what I read there will also be some sort of 'story quest' mode where you play against AI - which could be worth to me if its a good value. I stated on their forum feedback that I would gladly pay up for some singleplayer thing as long as the content is worth it; but I'm just one person and I didn't read if others expressed the same. You can also play against AI as is in practice mode to your heart's content and never play against a player, but I don't mind playing against real people since that's what I've always wanted to do with Gwent.

First remove modding. Then remove dedicated server software. Remove all player agency that lets a game have a shelf life long after its original release. And then eventually when the game is too costly to run match maker servers, shut the servers down to make room for the next sequels.

Perhaps a sneaky intern snuck in it for the ultimate trolling. Said intern will then anonymously post their patch-back nudey bits mod, Dongs and VahJJ.

Shadowrun games are short, but good. With this game it seems like it is built for replays, trying new builds and story paths, which is what the Devs stated they hope players do.

Americans really F'd up this time.

If you really think that, then the corporate-backed Two-Party system will continue to fool you every time with their consolidated strangle hold on the electoral process. In this kind of system, it is statistically likely for it to swing one way to the next, there is no mystery to it. There will always be a Republican or Democratic control. Blame the system and its corruption - not the people.

Well the book Metro 2035 was released last year, it's a good book BTW. Seeing a game from it this year would have been surprising. Especially since the games and books mirror each other fairly closely.

I'll have to check it out.

DNC let everyone down by simply picking Hillary because it was 'her turn'

The DNC didn't "pick" anybody. That's revising history. The leaked e-mails didn't show any mass conspiracy. In fact, there were e-mails both for and against Hilary.

If that's your opinion, you're welcome to it. The Republican and Democratic parties, however, work very hard at the kind of corruption that they adhere to. They want you to think everything is lollipops and rainbows, nothing to see here. It's already been studied that America is an Oligarchy (not a democracy) for years, run by an insane asylum and sank fast, ranking lower than other types of democracies around the globe.

As a third party member, but also supported friends that supported Bernie, I could tell something fishy was happening. Corruption and "Conspiracy" are two sides of the same coin. And don't just take that from me, there is evidence of fraud. Trump was also right when he said the elections are rigged, but they are not rigged in the way he thinks - the CPD rigged the elections since the 90s when they shut down the League of Women Voters, effectively shutting out Third Parties which Walter Cronkite called a fraud on the American people.

“The difference between the reported totals, and our best estimate of the actual vote, varies considerably from state to state. However these differences are significant—sometimes more than 10%—and could change the outcome of the election.” - Fritz Scheuren, professor of statistics at George Washington University, President of the American Statistical Association (ASA)

Elliot Crown - it IS possible software stole votes

Election Justice also has the following study (Democracy Lost):

with findings that Bernie Sanders won the Democratic primaries, but was denied victory from the following types of election fraud (pg. 95):

1) Targeted voter suppression
2) Registration tampering
3) Illegal voter purges
4) Exit polling discrepancies
5) Evidence for voting machine tampering
6) The security (or lack thereof) of various voting machine types

“Based on this work, Election Justice USA has established an upper estimate of 184 pledged delegates lost by Senator Bernie Sanders as a consequence of specific irregularities and instances of fraud. Adding these delegates to Senator Sanders’ pledged delegate total and subtracting the same number from Hillary Clinton’s total would more than erase the 359 pledged delegate gap between the two candidates. EJUSA established the upper estimate through exit polling data, statistical analysis by precinct size, and attention to the details of Democratic proportional awarding of national delegates. Even small changes in vote shares in critical states like Massachusetts and New York could have substantially changed the media narrative surrounding the primaries in ways that would likely have had far reaching consequences for Senator Sanders’ campaign.” (15 Minute Analysis of this study by Lee Camp)

Dear Democrats, Read This If You Do Not Understand Why Trump Won

"Wikileaks was not Russian propaganda, it was the news.

Wikileaks has a 10-year record of never releasing a single falsified document, and is not connected to Russia. Everything they released were the actual e-mails of Hillary Clinton and her campaign staff. You had the opportunity to look through a window into the Hillary Clinton campaign, but you didn’t."

Why Trump Won; Why Hillary Lost - By the honorable Robert Parry (famous journalist who helped expose Iran-Contra)

Other countries and their people or leaders are not my enemy and I do not engage in dangerous McCarthyism.

In any case, now is not the time to give up. It's about growing movements, trying to come together across the divide, and doing our best to hold politicians or Presidents with their feet to the fire. There is plenty of room in activist groups such as anti-war, peace, environmental, human-rights, and general advocacy groups against corruption.

And like I predicted before, either way the Empire teeters on towards decline. The system may one day be built anew, one would hope but rock bottom may need to occur first. History merely plays itself it in the end while us fickle humans existing in each period, witness it.
