There is. It makes the Alien actually bugger off to other parts of the map randomly. Playing at the middle difficulty (forgot what it was labeled) still had it hanging around near me enough, but it did feel way more fair.

I can -accept- Alien 3 as actually having happened (the workprint version). Mainly because Alien 4 came out and it made 3 look like a masterpiece in comparison.

I mean, yes, what it boils down to is bad writing, so we're sort of in agreement. But it's part of a recent trend of topics that get categorized as "woke". Is it over emphasized by some critics? Yes. Do the alt-right overly lean on pointing to it? Yeah. But as someone who just enjoys good cinema it does pull me right out of a movie because I know it's trying to cater to this recent trend Hollywood thinks it needs to cater to (and I liked the original C'sA remake back with Bill Murray).

General consensus was it's a lame movie?? What?? T2 is considered one of the best sequels, and / or action movies of all time in most of the circles I've ever paid attention to. And yes, another great example of a female lead where it wasn't an issue that she was female because the movie was written like she's just another character. Not something with a huge spotlight pointing out the fact.

Previous Ghostbusters movie, Terminator: Dark Fate, recent Charlie's Angels movie. It's a term referring to movies which suffered bad writing due to over emphasizing gender and / or racial politics. Basically just bad writing.
In 1986 we got Aliens and no one flipped out over a female action movie lead because it was simply a well written movie. When done right gender, race, etc. isn't an issue because it feels like you're watching something you can buy as actually happening in it's fictional form, instead of feeling like it's trying to carry a message instead of tell a story.

No. All "killer apps" are remembered post release as such. If the game flops it will be referred to as something that drove sales pre-release and nothing more.
From wiki "is any computer program that is so necessary or desirable that it proves the core value of some larger technology,", it wont be proving anything if it's a flop.
It's not a killer app yet, because it isn't an app yet. It's not released. Everything so far is pre-release hype driving sales.
Sometimes sequels are designed with an 'everyone played the first one so lets just expand the game play instead of retread anything' mentality. Like a, what if the first game just kept going approach. So just as the levels became more vertical and elaborate in the first one, this one just acts as if the levels here are levels 17 (or w/e it is) -> onward from there.
Though also I agree with Quinn to some degree. Hopefully these new levels aren't too "video gamey" and are still grounded to some extent. That's more a preference though, this still looks fun either way.
