Doesn't matter what a reviewer's opinion is anyways. The numbers are what they are.
Yup and for a node shrink, they suck, a lot. Samsung's 8nm is really a 10nm++, no wonder. It's called a half node shrink in the industry, not a "full" node.
Hopper is supposedly going to be on TSMC's 5nm, that would be 1 full node and a half from Samsung's 10nm++. Now that will be something.

30% better performance at about 60% of the price... I call that a very good deal.
What I don't like is the lack of video RAM. This is why I will be waiting for the 3070 Ti or 3080 Ti.
Forget the 60% figures, the cheapest are around 100$ higher than MSRP. The perf is FAR from what was claimed and the perf per watt was just utter horseshit.
Gamers Nexus wasn't impressed.
Hardware Unboxed wasn't impressed.
Linus wasn't impressed.
Only Jayz"Nvidia"2Cents and Digital"Cherrypicking"Foundry were.

Entirely valid posts. My question is are you willing to pay twice as much for that? I'm not.

Oh yeah, Wasteland 3 comes out ... the 28th? I keep forgetting this game is so close to release. I'll most likely get it on Gog at some point.

You guys realize under Epic's model developers could shift to making more free games, and generate revenue purely through in-app purchases. These stores would never see a dime on those titles but would be expected to maintain the store front, curate and host them.
