I only have the latest pure drivers + PhysX installed and still had that shit on my PC so this is not true.
The article is also crap because that shit can not just have been in the "latest" drivers. The date on my PC says it was added on Oct 12. The latest drivers are dated Oct 28.
Fuck all of this inaccurate reporting FUD shit.

Yep, I double checked and found I was using one driver revision behind the latest. Telemetry for everyone, it seems.

FYI - I have the latest drivers with no Geforce Experience and I don't see any of the telemetry stuff running.

EDIT - NM, I had 375.63, 375.70 DOES include the Telemetry with a driver + PhysX only install.

Salty, huh? What kind of salt would that be? Hawaiian Black Salt? Himalayan Pink Salt? Fleur de Sel from Brittany, perhaps? Maybe you're implying something nautical, like an 'old salt'? Too much sodium in their diet possibly? Or is you're just on the irritating as hell "salty" bandwagon, much like when everyone was just as irritatingly describing everything as "epic". There are over 400,000 words in the English language...find something else besides "salty" already.

Someone's salty...

It fixed the z-fighting mountain texture issue, that's enough draw distance improvement for me. Walking to Whiterun's never looked so un-seizure inducing.

And I was going to post the 5 hidden improvements vid from Brodual, but I see it's already been posted twice. The engine's in a great state for some serious modding now.

It just boggles my mind that they would release this so close to the new Battlefield.

Yes, this...

I'll pick it up at some point, but if I hadn't *just* bought BF1 I would have probably grabbed it at release.

Not really... all is answered concerning mods in the new Skyrim here:

I read there's a wireless (cableless?) version of the Vive on the way, but it's still Gen 1 in all other aspects. These may get bundled with that.

I'm still holding out for a Gen 2 myself.

I remember a time a few years ago we were celebrating the new golden age of space sims. Elite Dangerous! No Mans Sky! Star Citizen! X Rebirth! Man that did not turn out like expected. At least one of them worked out ok.

And it sucks, as it's the genre I most want to see flourish atm.

LOL, years of development time after taking a chunk of people's money just for the "honor" of playing a glorified tech demo with barely anything to do, lack-luster game mechanics, and broken MP.

Oh wait, wrong thread....

Best part of this will be the 64-bit client. No more 4 gig limit for Win 8.1/10 users... just pile on the texture mods =)

Still waiting for $20-$30 sale price before I buy it. Luckily I saw enough of the leaked footage to hold me off and wait for reviews.

It's not even worth that. In its current form, it's a $10 game.

On the plus side, Sh0dan occasionally comes over to Barad-Dur for tea and cakes. She's really not that bad tempered once you get to know her/it/them.

Just don't get her in a room together with GLaDOS; they never shut up.

News Comments > Star Citizen Squadron 42 Next Year?
165. Re: Star Citizen Squadron 42 Next Year? Sep 9, 2016, 20:35 Drayth

Remember whatever trouble SC is having, that's not an excuse for someone to take every effort to tear it down, especially a conflict of interest.

DS's "interest" in SC is borderline stalker territory, not to mention gross over exaggeration if not lies concerning the going on's at CIG.

I think this one was an honest mistake, but yet a good example...

Yeah, it's a huge project.. it's going to have a lot of stumbling blocks to conquer. I'd rather be able to hear solid reporting on it's progress than constant noise, "OMG, LOL planetary landing is R&D only. You'll (maybe) NEVER see it in game!"

I have an 8 hour job that doesn't really require any overtime, and I have less time to post on this forum than the lead of an MMO shooter competing in the PlanetSide game space.

For that matter where ARE all the PlanetSide developers? Come on guys, pitch in!

Never really understood this mentality. If you loved ME1 and 2, you should love ME3 because it has the best gameplay and level design in the series. The ending sucked, sure, but it was about 1% of the game. The other 99% was great.

Agreed, the shooter aspect was at it's best in that one by far. ME 2 had the best "vibe" to it though I felt. 3's ending didn't bother me much, but I didn't play it till all the DLC was out.

That's the sort of person whose sanity I wonder about in this. I wonder how long they spent making that video.

Just havin' a little fun with that post.

Yeah, it's a silly presentation. It does hold some worth, imo, with some quotes he made towards non-SC games before he went after the big fish, and a few other pieces.
