Just reminiscing here, but the second best thing about PS:T were the spells. Some of them were like mini-movies. I usually play warrior types in RPG's, but I always go mage for a PS:T play through.

Looking forward to playing through Tides in the not too distant future...

Agreed. But it was more fun the harder it was. There's a lot of content you don't see if you don't die a bunch.

Really? I try to play most games without dying. Died on my first main run, started over and completed it without dying on the second.. I'd always progress time from a tower though before ending a game session. Figured that did the same thing for the orcs...

And for some reason I just can't bring myself to play through the dlc even though I enjoyed the main game. I'm usually completionist when it comes to that stuff.

My *only* complaint is the ragdolling I've seen in various videos (not just this one) seems way too "light". Like the bodies have no... sorry but it really is the right word to use here... no mass to them. Maybe it'll look better in the actual game.

That was awesome. It's not TOO light on story. In fact, I found the story in this one more interesting. But yeah, the action is insanely good with a nice dose of dry humor (sometimes played out during the action).

Anyone else hyped about the Sony OLED A1E? I think I'm going to pick one up. 65" OLED, with sony's supposedly legendary motion handling? fuck yeah.

Just looked it up... the screen is the speaker?? Woah.

I'll probably hold off one more year still, but OLED looks to be coming along nicely (finally).

What RX480 lies? AMD didn't lie, people who got their hands on early hardware did. Get those facts straight please.

Well there is the "Premium VR Experience" stamped all over the boxes, when all of the testing shows their frame time is too high on those cards to prevent the headsets from going into Reprojection / Time Warp (less than ideal) rendering modes. Something the 1060 doesn't suffer nearly as badly from.

There's no apostrophe when you use the possessive "its," but what you wrote is still comprehensible, yes. That's pretty low-hanging fruit for CJ.

Wait what?

"It's" is possessive, or a contraction of "it is". It's not? ^_^

It's its own thing...

We have never done a season pass for our games. They just don't work for us.

That's what I thought. I only asked about DAI because I knew for sure you didn't do any before, but it's become the land of season passes in the past few years.

This is normal for a BioWare game, no? I think it's going to be business as usual; each DLC will have to be bought individually, with a GoTY one or two years after. There wasn't a season pass for DA:I, was there?

43. Re: Mass Effect 2 Free on Origin Jan 6, 2017, 21:54 Drayth

I was just making the correction that I originally compared Fry's to GoG not Origin, then added my reasoning for the original analogy.

We'll just keep our own imaginary, fantasy store-lands each to our respective mind boxes. S'aul good.

No man, GoG was Fry's. Lots of miscellaneous things with some real gems hidden in there. Origin = Best Buy, slick store layout (no pun) but only a few key products and higher prices.

I guess that makes Origin -> Best Buy.

GOG Downloader = Fry's?

I never even knew the game had DLC, oh well.

..really? This one has some of the best DLC as far as DLC goes. Lair of the Shadow Broker is awesome, and Arrival serves as one of the more key plot moments in the overall story of the series, despite not being directed by Denis Villeneuve.
