Souls-like - the thing that happened after MOBA was the thing.
No, thanks. I do understand that people like Dark Souls with its superdifficult fights, but when I come home from work and am allowed to play a game for an hour or two (she is cruel, isn't she?), I need something to calm down and have some - in comparison to work - easy success. If I want to stress myself, I just have to go back to work.
Thankfully there are also enough games for people like me.![]()

That isn't dying. Your char is still playable. It's just a xp loss and your equipment is still on your char. They should have a mode where you have just one life. I'm not talking about difficulty, just removing the immortality of the char. Even three lives would be fine. Just some sort of *real* penalty for dieing.

Not sure what century you are living in but I have never seen dime sized pixels. Must be an old PC gamer curmudgeon thing.

I personally am looking forward to it. The 'feel' of id games are always far superior to other games, at least to me.

Following the epic trailer the game did creep me out for 10 minutes until I got outside - after that I uninstalled it. Damn glad I didn't pay for it - zombie fps means bad guys who move slow, are stupid and can't attack from range. Or in other words zombie fps < doom 1.
