Also, it's really awesome - I've been playing since... beta or alpha or omega or whatever and it has been fun all the while. The community has never been TOO small but now that it's on Steam hopefully we'll get even more players.
The reason it looks like The Specialists is probably because one of the two dudes who made that mod, is making this game/mod. It's basically The Specialists in HL2 but not...?

For those who don't know, NS2 was a failure because the creator was emotionally attached to his original game design and ignored the numbers in front of his face: NS Combat was more popular and more fun than NS Classic.
He launched NS2 with just the classic game mode (which is only appropriate for organized teams) and it bombed.
Huge, huge, huge missed opportunity given how good asymmetrical gameplay can be, how he helped define some modern ideas about it, and how big it is getting NOW.

$35...for this? Lulz.
The irony joke sucks. Person 1 demonstrates they don't understand irony. Standing at bus stops is not ironic. That's the joke...
They've made some impressive improvements to the game engine but does anyone know if they've addressed the balance problems?

Cevat was quoted as saying "Me too! ME TOO!!! JUST DON'T STEAL IT! PLEASE!"

Why is it not Star Noir

What are the odds that the chariots 'drive' the same way as 99% of all racing games do, ie, you control a square brick that pivots around a single point in the exact middle?

I think it's sad that gamers these days play Battlefield games to unlock guns and earn XP instead of to do the thing that has made the series great since BF 1942, which didn't have any unlocks.
I lost over 70k in a single game. That was the last straw for me. It was my best game yet in bf4. Game over for me.
