So that's why the Emerald City was so wonderful, they were served by Google fiber. Dorothy really screwed up when she went home to the farm where they couldn't even get DSL.

About a week ago I replaced our doorbell because every time someone rang our old one the parrot freaked out. We tried muffling the thing, but could never seem to get it loud enough for us to hear but not freak out the bird. And since I've become the go-to Mr. Fixit for the neighborhood kids bicycles the bell and bird have been getting a workout. I really wanted to find a doorbell that did mp3s, but settled for one from Lowes with 63 tunes to choose from, plus a volume control. Now the bird is happy, the wife is happy, and I am happy.
And I expect nothing less than a seamless, transparent transition from this site's perspective. After all, why should I be inconvenienced by your life-altering circumstance? Now really, is that too much to ask?

I suppose we are come away with the impression these teachers are "with it" and "cool" - but it strikes me as more "lame" and "pathetic". These teachers should be voted "most likely to stalk an underage student".

I expected a story about a rooster. Once I got passed that, I must say the video didn't move me much. All I know from watching it is the guy expected to inherit a city license from the previous owner. On the face of it I'd say no, let the competition begin. I don't think the last guy should have had a "lifetime" license in the first place. I also found the music distracting, it has been overused.
