Gamespy have a more detailed version of that id Mobile interview that explains it all pretty clearly. He doesn't expect to be devoting a lot of personal time to it overall. From reading that, it seems FE will have very little do with it. It's a new division of id, at id. FE could be at the same place as id for all I know, so maybe that's a moot point;P

I was 14 when it first came out and oddly enough, I saw it as a double feature along with Romancing the Stone of all films. What a pairing;P

I don't actually know what the future will be for John or his wife. I'm not living with them;P

I do have cable and so forth and what I've noticed is it's not something I have to upgrade all that often. Actually, I never have. I'm on about my 10th mobile phone, though. In some countries, people update these damn things annually and I can see there would be quite a decent market for a decent mobile phone game. You don't like it. I don't care much about it myself, either. I have the top of the range Motorola at the moment. I couldn't tell you offhand what games are on it because I've never even bothered to look. It gets cable television and internet, too and I've never used those, either. I use it for making calls when I need to, and even that's gotten harder the more shit they add to these damn phones. Still, I think he's onto something that has a probable and large future if he can make something good for it. And there would need to be something damn good before I'd even bother working out how to play a game on my phone.

They are interested in making quality games; mobile ones. And from reading the article, it seems like it's FE doing the work and Carmack pulling the odd engine out of his ass for them to develop the games.

Been trying to find some place that will ship this out to Australia. EB/Gamestop and Amazon have it, but won't ship it. If anyone knows offhand of somewhere that does ship, I'd love to know about it. Thanks:)

The UI in the demo was horrible and I doubt it's going to have changed any prior to shipping. It looked console, it suffered delays like a console. It sucked big hairy ones.

I have a lot of faith in Epic doing something about it, but just how much they're prepared to do is a worry until we see it. Consideringa bunch of old interviews you used to see where they spoke with Steve Polge(?) about how great the UI was and how it was designed to be basic and simple like a spreadsheet.... and then they give us the UT3 demo.

I've got the CE preordered anyway. With those intructional videos and all, like with UT2K4, I'd get all my fun and value out of that alone and a solid game on top is just gravy.

Downloading via Steam here and no problems at all. Looking forward to giving this a shot. Getting the first one thrown in was a nice, too.

I have full administrative account. I just went through everything and there's nothing there for Crysis. I can make a shortcut from the game folder on C: and start it that way of course. Just baffles me how such a basic thing seems to be a problem. World in Conflict was the same, so it's not just Crytek.

Thanks.

I've just watched the Making of Crysis video that comes with the CE version. Words fail me. They spend some time talking about how they're the first to do for Vista, first DX10 and so forth and yet, just like the betas, the final version still fails to put any entries in the start menu for Vista. I have Quake3 installed and it puts menu entries in. How damn hard can it be! EA.....

Thanks Elf:)

I hadn't preordered it. I just picked up the CE version yesterday and the card inside that just says go to nanosuit.com.

Has anyone found where on www.nanosuit.com you need to go to enable the bonus vehicle for this?

I'm hoping this game is awesome in light of my giving in and buying something published by EA. Please let it not be painful;P

Bit of a bummer really. I think Bizarre did an excellent job on PGR3 and, barring a few annoyances, a decent effort with PGR4. I wonder if this means no DLC for PGR4?

HeatRay Deathmatch has what I assume is the Dark Walker vehicle and yes, that's a bit dumb for deathmatch I suppose. Or, you can view it as one hell of a powerup. I'm still not sure as I only played it a couple of times.

Since I don't know your email and you giving it here would probably be a bad idea. I've added you to my friends list on Steam. You need to accept the invitation and then I can send you the Ep1 and Ship if you're still after that.

Have a look in the settings for sending invites MuzixMon. I sent mine a few minutes ago and they haven't arrived yet, but I do have the option to resend them. Maybe you have the same in there somewhere?

I still have the HL2 pass if there's anyone in the known universe who still doesn't have a copy.
