Not to be contrarian or start an argument, but Yakutsk in Russia is the coldest city on Earth with a population over 500K people. I know this specifically because I just found a Youtube channel that's literally based there and the temperatures during the cold months there are INSANE. -60F air temps with wind chills sometimes as low as -90. Are you kidding?! How do people live there? Well, apparently quite normally for the most part. Minus the cars that have to stay on 24/7 and the pipes etc. all above ground so they don't freeze and warming stations every block or so in the city itself. Bus stop outlets to keep warm. Kids go to school, as long as it's not colder than -50F. Just think about that one lol

This DLC is for the UE5 version of the game, I think? Because damn the base regular version of the game - the install with all DLC is like 400 GB now. It's insane. I think when I went to install this one, it was just about 80 GB. So, probably the UE5 version lol

I just can't play this game anymore though, I had enough of survival crafting games at this point.

I mean Saber has been honing these types of horde shooters for years now, World War Z is a really fun one, and Space Marine 2 while not a horde shooter really - uses their "Swarm tech" and has really good 3rd person shooter mechanics baked in at this point. I'm pretty sure it has Spotify support in the game. One of the first things it asks you when you boot the game up is which streaming service you want to use, Spotify, Tidal, Youtube Music etc. are all in there.

Maybe they consider Quake Champions, Quake 5? I can't think of any other reason to be honest, other than to get the internet roaring with rumors and gossip. Which worked out pretty well already for them heh.

Sigh, I had no idea this was EGS exclusive until now. I loved Horizon Chase Turbo and I got so many of my friends to buy it on Steam. Shame the devs took the EGS bribe money to make it exclusive for however long (6 months, a year, it doesn't matter) it is. I honestly don't know if I'll pick it up when it hits Steam down the road now. No pun intended.

So the keys the Wii used is baked into the source code for Dolphin, which is a major no-no and why Nintendo decided to finally go after them and their Steam release. Modern Vintage Gamer did a video on this yesterday, and actually showed the source code (blurred out so he wouldn't get DMCA'ed also) literally showing the keys in the source code. Not sure why the Dolphin team did that since again it's considered a major no-no for emulation teams. But, hopefully they can fix the situation easily and fairly quickly. The Gamecube keys aren't included, just the Wii. So it seems removing the Wii keys from the code would be the easiest solution, but I am not a coder so I don't know how difficult it would be.

Also coming to Steam apparently.

Severed Steel is nothing like Mirror's Edge really, other than some parkour stuff. It's much more action focused with the whole bullet time and what not. And yes Mortal Shell is a body swapping Soulslike kinda thing, it's more complicated than that but that's the gist of it.

old shooter connoisseur civvie11 was pretty positive about it in a 30 minute review he did of it.

the game is really a technical marvel for 1997, its funny to go back and read those boomer reviews and see how hypnotized they were by silly bullshit "quake killer" chasing, fixating on all the wrong things.

Previous games in the series that had multiplayer were fun as hell. Never understood why Ubisoft stopped putting MP/Coop in the Assassin's Creed games. I mean, after the Origins "reboot" or refresh of the series I get it because they went open world etc. But Brotherhood had awesome multiplayer and Unity (I think it was Unity) had amazing coop. I'd be down for a new Assassin's Creed mp experience in 202x.

I mean I agree with you to an extent - but the fact all the Darkstalkers games are here is a big get for many people. And Red Earth alone is a big one for many many people. $40 is a bit much for what this is (a rom collection as you called it, which is pretty accurate) but at least they didn't go full price on it. I guess?

I know it probably will never happen, but I really wish EFT/Arena would come to Steam. But alas, Battlestate have said they don't need Steam and never will probably, so eh.
