Considering how MK11 actually ended, not sure how things move forward after this "story" wise. But I mean, it's MK, they could do anything they want really. I'm just pumped that freaking Peter Weller himself is coming back for Robocop and that the original actor for Shang Tsung in the MK movie is doing the voice etc for him in the game now. I just think that's really cool.

Wow, so they used Steam users for the alpha and beta testing (which I was part of) and then 2 fucking weeks before release on Steam, pull it and make it EGS exclusive. Great, that's just awesome Coffee Stain. Guess I won't be buying anymore of your games now either. And I really liked Huntdown from what I played of it, shame.

Yeah, I'd never play a game like this in VR. I'd literally be afraid it might cause a bleed in my brain. Also if this is a real thing, maybe don't announce it on the dumbest day of the year? Just saying, especially with a dude fake puking in your trailer for it lol

Yeah they can still go screw themselves over WRC 8. I love the WRC games and was looking forward to 8 quite a bit, but then literally a few days before release they pull it from Steam and announce EGS only. F off with that shady crap. No thanks.

I really hope the Devolver thing they do is as insane as the last few E3 "shows" they've done. Man, I'm kinda bummed if they don't continue the "story" they have going lol

Heh, I've been saying that in comments on Youtube for a few days now on videos for the game. Surprisingly I got a few responses who knew what the reference was from. Long live Stargate SG-1 !!!

I wish it was the Penumbra series instead.
Hopefully it's better than the second Amnesia which I quickly lost interest in.

With that exception I've loved all of their games.

To be fair, Fricitional didn't make the 2nd Amnesia. The Chinese Room did (I think that was their name if my memory serves). Fricitional only published the game.

I'm still playing it, just not on PC because of the whole EGS dumpster fire they pulled. If it came to Steam, I'd buy it again - unless it was full price which it shouldn't be after a year or more.

Considering GFN has no way of buying anything, and you are literally streaming games you own already, if you bought any of the $22282282882 worth of DLC, then yes it does

Towerfall, member of the infamous "Indie PVP battle game with no online mode" club, it's such a great game too.

At least if you buy this game on Steam you can now use the remote play together thingy and have actual online fun with friends. I mean the game is good, and is certainly worth money but getting it for free on the EGS is fine. Just remember there is no online there at all where as Steam has the option for the remote play stuff now.

I'm confused on the cross platform play, how are console players going to respond to continuously getting annihilated by PC players?

Simple, controller players on console are matched with controller players on PC, and mouse/keyboard on console are also matched with mouse/keyboard on PC. You simply opt into this system, or opt out if you so wish (and thus get annihilated all the time I'd imagine).

Looks just like the original and worse than some mods... What am I missing?

I'm not sure why they bothered with this to be honest. As I understand things, the code for the game was lost right after the original PC release back in 99 or whenever it was. So any improvements made to the game since then aka this version, is just upscaled or uprezzed models and some tweaks here and there to the visuals. They have no access to the backgrounds, lighting and shadow systems and whatever else might be under the hood. Unless they found someone to actually unpack the code or backwards engineer it (or hired someone good with the current codebase) its just another version of the near 20 year old PC version as it is.

Plus, WRC 8 was listed on Steam for almost a YEAR at this point, and now literally less than 14 days before release, they pull it to be an EGS exclusive. That's some shady crap and I'm sorry I won't support garbage like that. Normally I haven't had any issue with EGS (Hades says hello I guess) but garbage like his really irks me. Hey Bigben why not just wait until launch day when people are waiting for the game to unlock on Steam and then pull it for EGS? That'd work out well for you!

One thing I'm a little worried about for BL3 is that a HUGE chunk of the charm and awesomeness from BL2 came from Handsome Jack. Will they be able to capture that same magic again for their new bad twins duo? Without their main BL2 writer still there?

The way Pitchford said that Jack was dead, kinda hinted that he might not be dead, but that's just how I took his way of saying it. I'm sure he's not coming back, but you never know in a game series (especially this one). That being said, if the evil bandit twins can even remotely come close to Jack's charm etc, I'm sure the game will be fine then. If they suck as characters then well, its just another looter shooter with no story then.

Yeah not sure what game your talking about - but Dirt Rally has zero microtransactions in it. You pay for the game, you get the entire game. Dunno if Dirt Rally 2.0 is going to follow that same line, but Dirt Rally itself is a full game right out of the box so to speak.

I go months and months between matches sometimes, and in public servers I usually have a great time. I find the KF community is awesome most of the time, offering help and advice, and almost always giving out dosh (money) when you ask or need it.

As for going in totally blind, yeah you should be fine.

There's been bots in the game for a couple of months now at least. Sure it was only training mode stuff at first but now they fill out multiplayer matches and you can join players vs. bot matches in a playlist, along with making a custom match with as many bots as you want and open it up to others.

Sigh, I wish they'd do the same for Armageddon. I know most people hated that game - but I thought it was quite fun. I actually finished RF:A but never quite finished RF:G. Still, a remastered version of Guerrilla, maybe now I'll finish it.

Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr is an ARPG and its been out in EA for months now (getting close to final release). Its from the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing devs, so yeah. Chaosbane is not the first ARPG set in that universe.

Yea, I bought this when they first started to sell it on their web site. Played it a little. been also avoiding this one so I dont get burned out when it goes live. But its been a fun game too. just a little disappointed in their approach to how Coop works.

They opted to not have the Campaign Coop. only missions.

Bummer!!

Yeah not having the campaign fully coop capable is a bummer, but at least there is coop. And aren't the missions you can do in coop randomly generated etc, so you'll always have something to do no? And I get you about not wanting to get burned out on the game before it even comes out. I've only played the game a handful of times now, usually when big patches come out - to see what's changed and if it ran better on my rig. Thankfully it runs great for me now, and combat etc feels way better. I am indeed looking forward to the final release.
