When it says on the page that these maps are "Epic designed", does it mean what it says?
These maps were designed by contractors working with Epic. The final approval and tweak process was done within Epic for these maps, though the initial design was done by the contractors with feedback from our designers.

Although the maps are larger than the small ONS maps that shipped with UT2k4 such as Primeval and Frostbite, a portion of the filesize of these maps is due to content such as textures being included in the .unr (map) file itself. The Unreal engine supports storing data such as static meshes and textures within the level itself, thus helping to reduce the number of dependent files that need to be installed (and thus possibly over-written with earlier/later/incorrect versions or just straight-out lost).

I don't remember if we shipped the option with the demo, but you can choose to play with classic weapons in the full UT2k4. Which means you can have the old Link Gun from 2k3 back.

No, all the music in the game is created for the game, no licensed music.
It is true, we announced that the demo will be available at noon Pacific Standard Time, 3pm Eastern, 8pm Greenwich mean

Uru: Ages Beyond Myst is 2 games. One, Uru, is a single player experience, no online required. Doesn't even require you to use the enclosed CD-Key.
The second, Uru Live, is a MMO game, with a primarily exploration / social focus. Uru Live is what has been delayed. It DOES require the CD-Key to create a unique account, which at some future time will be a billed service, though from their own descriptions that won't be until sometime early next year. THIS is what has been delayed. The game shipped to stores on time, the single player works exactly as described, but you can't access the massively multiplayer section of the game yet.
