Yeah they really flubbed the Store in general. It's the most miserable experience I've had since trying iTunes on Windows a long time ago.
You can select the hard disk before installation and you can move files post-install. Since the major issues have been fixed, I'm good with it.

For me, Witcher 3 spoiled all other RPGs. The quest design was above and beyond anything else. Playing PoE after W3 was a sad affair.

What I expect from game mode: Pause any cpu intense background tasks like defender or windows update. What I don't expect: to magically increase framerates with the same hardware.

I was totally blown away by the single player campaign. I never expected it to be this good. Sadly, the player count online is pretty low on PC.

I am happy with the last decent Macbook Pro from 2013.
The keyboard on the new models is a joke and don't get me started on that touchbar...

Definitely not worth having to deal with the shitty microsoft store, and its stupid rules. Last I checked, can't even move games (Gears 4) to another drive without having to re-download it. And that game alone is 70+ GB.
I checked this: You can move Windows Store Apps to other disks and it now let's you select a disk when installing a game from scratch.

Played a couple of matches yesterday but winning/losing seemed very random. It ran very good on my 960gtx in 2560x1080p ultra wide res, though.

I'm a bit surprised a sequel happened. I picked up Halo Wars for like $7, got a copy for a friend. Had a GREAT time playing it co-op through the campaign.

If the second one gets decent reviews, I'll get it as well. So far I've had no trouble with the win10 versions of games (Forza Horizon 3 and Gears4), except for the weird way MS hides the games and even the data they consume. Had to give my Store games their own drive so I wasn't freaking out over "where did 200 gb go?". Looks like that drive may need to be bumped up in capacity, already packed a 250gb drive.
The first Play Anywhere title I really use is Everspace. I play it on the xbox one at my girlfriend's place and on my PC at home. The store should really let you select the install location for every game, though.

One of the creators studied at my university in germany and made lots of money with this. To be honest, I also never heard of it back then

Shows how far ahead google is in AI research Linking applications is an API thing, but keeping a conversational flow within a question/response, that is AI ^^
No, that's still not AI. We can not create AI with the current computing architecture. That's a fact.

Why is this news? The big three browsers have been pulling this type of stuff for years. Google has been making these type of recommendations for quite a while. If you use a non-chrome based browser with any google service it will nag you to download chrome.

No probs with Win 10 on 4 devices. The default privacy settings are questionable but that's just a couple of sliders anyway.

Man those MacBook prices are crazy.

If my daughter wanted to use the school wifi, she needed a Mac. So instead I got her a $600 Lenovo laptop, and she tethers. Her extra usage costs me about an extra $20-30 per month.
Huh, why a Mac for Wifi???

PS4 Pro Has Extra 1GB of RAM.
Welcome, console players, welcome to the hardware upgrade race
I thought developers were not allowed to release games exclusive to the pro version but let's not kid ourselves,
original PS4 owners will be second-class citizens.

Satya's strategy is "the device is irrelevant".
They will kill off every device except the surface tablets, xbox (might merge with PC?) and maybe a surface phone next year.

All they have to do is start helping game devs push for DX12-only titles, that's the only reason why most people would care.

If I only used my computer for e-mail, surfing the web etc. as long as it was secure, updated, and still supported, I wouldn't want to stop using Win7.

Give me the actual benefits of a bigger FPS bump in gaming however from switching to Win10, then start actually making DX12 relevant, and it's only a matter of time before the gamers at least switch over.

Unfortunately, DX12 isn't that much of a performance boost... especially for nVidia. Vulkan seems to be the way to go, especially since it is cross-platform. (Linux (PS4), and Android)

Which means Windows 7 is still good enough.

It's a whole new "DX vs OpenGL" battle... and I think DX will lose this time.
I was pretty disappointed that, with the DOOM Vulkan patch, I did not see any FPS increase on my GTX 960
