i don't think it is possible for anyone to make a decent all around great pirate game. judging by what has been seen so far. i have yet to see one that allowed me to wear lit cracker candles in my coarse dark beard and dangling from my dreading dark locks.

the dancing mini game alone makes me want to shoot my monitor. We need a real fps/sea war done pirate style...I followed Sea Dogs 2 sketchy Eastern Eurpoean development only to see it turned into Pirates of the Carribean...which was ass and sold back. There needs to be a hardcore gritty badass version. with tittys!@

Thanks, but I think my post implied I knew about that kind of stuff. I'm more interested in whether the game will actually play differently. In other words, will city sieges involve different strategy? And so on. I just want to know if it's worth buying. If it's essentially the same game with new units and graphics, I'd rather pass.

I've also heard they are thinking of a new loyalty scheme so you can send Blizzard your milk teeth as they fall out. Each tooth recieved will award you a piece of the coverted Tooth Fairy armor which give -50 to bed wetting (that apparently is "pwnage").

I agree with that...to me that is RPG 101. Gotta have the pay off off being able to explore new areas when leveling.
