As I have said before I believe that SCII will be released Q2 09 and Diablo 3 Q2 10 and after that first SCII expansion around holiday 10 and D3 expansion holiday 11.

In the meantime we will probably find out about that other mmo Blizzard is working and some new thing about the Warcraft series and maybe another wow expansion as well.

Dude you need to get your facts in order. Blizzard has stated themselves several times that their Warcraft games (which wow is based on) is based on the warhammer world. Blizzard actually tried to work out a deal to make wow a licend Games workshop game with the warhammer world back in the days.

So if anything wow is more like war 1,5 or maybe 2.0 including wotlk....

I think that most people forget about Blizzards history. WoW was built on an already established series that people know and loved. Add to that the fact that Blizzard has the most loyal fanbase know to man with one hell of a impressive trackrecord of published hits. They used their word class movie studio to pump out some really cool trailers with Blizzards trademark when it's done on them and I think that sold wow to alot of people, myself included. Before WoW I know about Blizzard, had played all warcraft games, Diablo games and StarCraft alot. You know you could expect good games from Blizzard. That kind of history is something I think most devs in the mmo market don't have. And that is, imho, a big advantage for Blizzard.

I don't understand the whole thing with the Necromancer. First they say no new classes will return but the Barbarian, now they hint that Necromancer might return? Or do I missunderstand it completly? I really like the necromancer so I would be happy if he returned.

Although I would be happier if they could release the damn game already...

Obviously there will be an expansion only question is when. I hope that SCII is released early next year like mars or april so that might give the expansion a release window around holiday season 09.

The interesting thing about a new race is of course what it will be if it is introduced. The Ancients maybe? Oh well I guess time will tell...

Once again ppl who buy games get fucked and ppl who pirate games can play them like they should. Seriously why do developers and publisher even wonder why so many pirate pc games? They are basicly asking for trouble using stuff like SecureROM and what not. Morons.

Does anyone know if there is two teams working on rtcw? I mean one team on the PC version and one team on the console version? I do not want some dumbed down console port of rtcw id ok?!

Come on Carmack don't blame piracy since there is lot's of games that sell well on PC. Even your own shitty copy/paste rehashed game Doom 3 sold well on the PC so if that is not proof enough for you that you can make money on the PC alone I don't know what more proof you need...

Well dude D3 has already been in development for 4 years according to the devs at wwi so if they want to take 5 years as you suggest it would be a release sometime 09 which was excatly what I suggested.

I think Blizzards games will release sooner then you tnink. Theese are my dates:

WoW-expansion X-mas 08
SC2 summer 09
D3 X-mas 09 or early spring 10

I think what it comes down to is the fact how close Blizzard want to release their games. I for one dont think it really matters since all will be big sellers but I guess it will also depends on what Activision/Vivendi has to say about their other titles as well. But both SC2 and D3 look really polished already so why wait? I want them now!!

I still have not been able to found any information on pricing but I do hope its not an mmo. Maybe they go the HGL route and charge for b.net useage and let the single player be free? I hope that is not the case since I want D3 to be a one time payment affair.

Anyway I must say Blizzard is really bringing out its big guns here. WoW-expansion, SC2 and now D3. Man thats great news and they still have not given us any new information about their other two secret projects. I hope it is Warcraft 4 and that the console mmo is some new ip.

Edit: Anyone wanna bet on releasedates? I bet that wow-expansion comes out this fall and that SC2 comes out next spring and that D3 comes out christmas 2009 or spring 2010. Man tons of Blizzard gaming awaits us :O

If Paradox can do it why can't LucasArts?! Seriously with their X-wing game series they created some of the best space sim games ever. Tie Fighter is one of my fav games ever in history of gaming. X-wing vs Tie Fighte was a good exempale of close dog fights where it worked in space for co op missions. It was some times early 90's i think. What a shame LucasArts have not yet make a rerelease of this awesome series.

Now I hope Dark Horizon goes well so LucasArts understands that people want space sims and go for another Tie Fighter. Please!!

Damn it! I want my D3... Oh well if it is not D3 I wonder what it is. Maybe 3D Realms finally is ready to show of Duke Nukem Forever? I guess only time will tell...

One more thing, is that news about Blizzard revealing a new game on WWI still true? Or was that only speculation? If they are releasing info on a new game on WWI maybe we will have D3 after all...

Well there is no question about it there will be another Diablo game from Blizzard. Only questions for me is when and will it be MMO or no MMO? There has been speculation about Diablo MMO called Heaven vs Hell, maybe thats whats coming? But is that really a good move from Blizzard to create another MMO to compete with WoW? Imo only Blizzard could compete with Blizzard if u know what I mean...

Anyway should be interesting to see what Blizzard is working on.

It seems that Blizzcon will be an annual show now to bad if that affects Blizzards visits on E3. As a european fan of Blizzard I could go to E3 and check them out there since my mag pays it for me but go to Blizzcon only? Not likely :S Hopefully they will attend some tradeshows so we euros can have a chance to see them at least.

And it should be interesting to see what they will announce this year. Both wow expansion and sc2 is alive already. Maybe Diablo mmo and some news on that Starcraft console game?

You know I think EA and we gamer's would be better off if EA would invest this loan to their own stuff instead and make better games. Please EA at least think of it ok?

I rember playing rebellions avp a long time ago. It is still one of my best horror games experiences ever. That is when u played as a marine alone in the cmaping. Man that was scary like shit. So even though I am normally all for co op I am not sure if this is the right game to put it in.

The reason why is that imho you don't get this scary crawling tension when you run around with a bunch of buddies like if you run around on your own.

Maybe the devs can go for different options, so that you can play alone if you want and as in co op if you want. If this is already in I have missed it

And one more thing, please make it really scary and sneaky like the original, not like that incredibly boring Doom 3 game. That is a good example of how not to be scary.

As many others have said before this game looks more and more like an expansion pack instead of a real sequel. And yet they have waited 10 years, probably more since it is Blizzard, to release it. And they get away with it, wow...

Blizzard is for PC Gaming what Nintendo is for console gaming imo. Both have this huge installed fanbase and both always get away with whatever they do.

For me personally the only thing that might get me into buying this game is if they improve Battle Net enough compare to the original. Because the online play and the service really need improvements. If they fail on that, no money from me.

Does anyone here know if it is possible to buy shares in Blizzard? Or do you have to buy shares in Activision / Blizzard for that? I mean Blizzard is a cash cow with wow expnasion sc2 and more coming out this year so would be good times to invest some money there. But I dont want to have to put money in Activision / Blizzard cause then you have to depend on all the other titles as well.

Yeah that sucked, I wanted to watch Tiberium not that other shit. Oh well I guess I can wait until some better videos comes out. Next time GT please dont mix up videos like that.

And I do hope Tiberium is not single player only, that would really suck.
