I agree with you on this one completly. It is the same thing all over the world. Overpayed CEO's that need "motivation" in the millions for just sitting on their ass. As long as things is good and orders keep coming in everyone hails them as some kind of kings. Then when the crisis comes all they do is blame everyone else and sack people.

And if anyone blame the board for paying theese CEO's outrageous money all they say is that "but but but we need to pay he/she that amount to get a competent CEO!" Riiight talk about waste of cash....

My guess is that all thoose CEO's and boardmembers all over the world live in their own little fantasy world where there is tons of ass kissing and deals under the table and they simply cannot understand why normal people would react to theese hideous amounts of cash.

Oh well, I guess this is the worst side of capitalism...

The closure of Ensemble Studios is really one of the most surprising moves from Microsoft that I have seen. I guess being really sucessful in your work is not enough for that company. Last time I checked all AoE games were million sellers, how many other studios can say the same for their games? With the release of Halo Wars it makes even less sense to close the studio down. A really bad move from MS imo.

I thought theese clowns had gone out of buisness a long time ago but somehow they still manage to secure funding for various projects. Imo that alone is their best achivement by far and I would love to see how they manage to pull it off from time to time. By now investors should consider this firm as a nono as far as I am concerned.

Damn short subject lines... Oh well as an old Star Wars nerd I have always thought that the Sith lived with the rule about one master and one apprentice. If you have seen the movies Yoda says that to. I guess with both Sith and Jedi classes this is one rule they will broke in the game. I wonder how many else they will broke eventually. My problem with focus on Jedis and Siths like this is that in my view of the Star Wars universe not everyone becomes a Jedi or Sith. Thoose are very rare and not something every player should be able to select from the get go. Especially since that will fuck up balance between non Jedi classes sine i do hope there will be non Jedi classes like botham spy or smugglers or pilots for either side etc. Oh well, will be interesting to follow this project, I really do hope Bioware don't fuck this up.

Well Chewbacca was born on Kashyyyk (spelling) and was only temporary on Endor for the battle there. Later in the spin off series he actually dies trying to save refugess from the Yzan Vong (spelling). So sadly Ubisoft does not have to stop using DRM if that is youor argument.

I mean seriously you all should know by now that DRM does NOTHING to prevent pirates from pirating the game. All it does is bugging legimate customers like me that want to buy the game. So whenever I find out that DRM is in I wount buy it. That is the only boycot I have when it comes to games. I don't care about companies or publishers and such stuff. But boy do I hate DRM, so Ubisoft please get this, DRM does NOTHING but hurt your sales ok?

This is so sad. I mean Blizzard used to have this When it's done policy. Fine it might take five years, but Blizzard took the time it needed to give the fans what they wanted and become a very succesful and well respected gaming company. What happend to the "when it's done" policy? Before Blizzard would not even care about delays, and why should they now? The game will sell regardless and until it comes out they have wow.

Hey Blizzard guess what, I have already bought wow, tbc and have wotlk on preorder. And I pay the monthly fee as well. And now you have the nerv to ask me for MORE?! What the fuck is that about? The whole point with subscription fees is that that fee covers everything for the player. We're not supposed to pay montly fees plus additional fees morons. Cutter what is it that Bioware has released that has not been good? Please give some examples as they have a solid track record imo. LucasArts however is a different story. There I agree with you that there is reason to be concerned.

I want't a good sci fi mmo and I really do hope that they learned their lessons from SWG where SOE fucked up that game completly. I do hope LucasArts does it right this time togheter with Bioware. And considering Biowares oustanding trackrecord so far this looks like a must buy imo. I only hope they can deliver both on release as well as post release.

Played wow to death since US Closed beta and this Open Beta is my first try on warhammer online. Did not play DAoC or know much aobut the warhammer world itself, but considering what I have read about the game from previous beta testers it looks really promising. WoW need some competition in this space. So I for one will at least give the game 6 months, after that we will see

After the fiasco that was Lost the game I really doubt Ubisoft will pull this off. I love all CSI series and Lost as well but I really don't think either of them will translate very well into games.

It would be nice if they could focus on actual content for the game instead with a good CE version that is actually worth buying like the WAR CE for instance. That must be the best CE version EA released in years....
