But it was a family movie.

How old where you when you seen it?

They sold toys (heaps of them) It became a kids cartoon show.

Angry Joe is like his name - Angry, it's what he does (did not look to me like he was every going to like it.)

The page I like to also likes to the page you said - the movie was still rated PG (at lest here in New Zealand)

When you seen it?

FYI: pretty much every game can boil down to grind, grind, grind...

No it's not, not even close.

Yeah, it definitely feels like they put the cart (world-building) before the horse (gameplay).

Still, at least they have a shipping date, unlike *some* space games.

I know right, it's the same reason you can't teach a horse philosophy. You just can't put Descarte before the horse.

Yeah, well March came in like a goddamned pride of lions up here. We got dumped on and it's nad freezing cold atm. It looks like spring will be starting next week however so that's the lamb right there. Still, I'd rather be roasting on a beach, or in the belly of a sloar than be cold.

You cannot parent your kids to sleep. What are you going to do? stay outside the door and open it every 10mins to see if they managed to get into the first stages of REM sleep?

You can encourage, setting bed times and such keeping a routine. But other then that... Your only making yourself look foolish(and kinda reportable to the police as a possible child molester) by standing outside your kids door like a stalker/creep.

Sure you can. Just remove all devices from their room except books. Let them read/study themselves to sleep. Stop making excuses for not parenting properly.

Gee, Timmy, you sure have no problem with tossing MS' salad when they gie you a dump truck full of money for exclusives like Gears of War. Where was your moral fortitude then? Fucking hypocrite.

I'm not sure what to make of it...it doesn't have the whimsy that I felt from the original. I'm sure if you don't like the movie you'll just be labeled a misogynist or just sexist or something, despite it feeling pretty craptacular from that trailer.

Exactly it. Where's the sarcasm of Venkman? You can't duplicate that.

Dr Ray Stantz: Gozer the Gozerian... good evening. As a duly designated representative of the City, County and State of New York, I order you to cease any and all supernatural activity and return forthwith to your place of origin or to the nearest convenient parallel dimension.

Dr. Peter Venkman: Yeah that oughta do it. Thanks very much, Ray.

I dunno; the tech of this game is undeniably impressive, as is the art style but there still doesn't seem to be much of an actual game behind it all. It doesn't seem as if there is much longevity to this title; it's something you'll fool around with for an hour or two and then move on to a game where you can actually accomplish something. As such, I'm not sure it's worth its current price point and definitely is not something I'd risk a pre-order on. It's a shame because the concept seems sound; it's just the actual implementation that appears lacking.

I think that's a sentiment shared by a lot of people. I linked the Ars coverage of it earlier in the OOTB today, and my takeaway from it is still exactly that, where and what is the actual game? In fact they touched on that very point....

I actually was sad to see a lack of small-scale quest structure, honestly, because that leaves combat as a more "shoot at things if you want to" sort of system, as opposed to a well-defined exercise in sci-fi blasting.

Yeah. I'm firmly in the wait and see camp on this one, and I doubt it'll bear out for the good.

That IBM story is precisely what's driving people in droves to Trump and Sanders. The only joke being Trump really doesn't give a shit about them and they don't get that.

Right now from what I have heard it's the same as shooting down/at a plane. IE $500,000 fine and up to 20 years in jail. Since they are considered small aircraft.

Well that's just idotic as one has an actual pilot on board and the other may not only not have an operator but be automated. I think they really need very tight laws around these things not just because 'turrizm' but the slew of pervs and weirdoes out there using these things. If they're saying they're like planes than they need transponders and to file flight plans as well.

4. Re: Egypt Civilization Announced (Not by Firaxis) Mar 3, 2016, 13:29 Cutter

Enh, I was hoping it was going to be an updated version of Children of the Nile. I'd love to see a building game for ancient Egypt done in fully realized 3D with the Unreal 4 engine. That'd be sweet walking around ancient Thebes in the first person. Whipping slaves, etc. Maybe get to play as Moses and tell Yul Brynner to let your people go.

And there is no legal angle here. A) Sid Meir's Civilization if the trademark, not Civilization, which is a word in common usage and can't be trademarked. B) Even if they were threatened they're in Russia so they really wouldn't give a shit.

Lol! And what did I just say?

Division is the same thing. Ubisoft just nakes the exact same game over and over for each of its IP with only artwork and story changing. It's played out and I'm terribly bored with it. I'll buy these games on a ddeep discount sure, but $10 is the limit on them for me.

Always liked George. My fave role of his was in The Eiger Sanction

British Tourist: I say, old boy, are you using your scope? Do you mind if my wife has a peek.

British Tourist's Wife: Darling, tell him we'll pay for it.

British Tourist: We can pay for it, you know.

Ben Bowman: Get out of here. Either of you friggin' vampires ever touch this telescope, you're gonna need surgery to get it out of your ass!
